"Let's go shall we?" Scott asked me as we were ready to go to school. I nodded as I grabbed my bag and walked out the house as Scott locked it behind me.
We went on his bike as I was sitting behind him as we rode.
We reached school as I said goodbye to Scott and went to go find Liam and Mason.
I walked over as I saw Mason.
"Boo!" I said behind him as he didn't get scared.
"Hey what's up?" He asked.
"Nothing much, where's Liam?" I asked.
"He looked pissed, I was trying to call him over but he just ignored and walked right pass me ." Mason said.
"Kind of rude of him..." I said confused.
"He's been off for a while so I don't know." Mason said as I gave him a sympathetic smile remembering he doesn't know the whole story.
The bell rang as Mason as I began walking to class.
As we were walking we saw Liam as he was walking away from us.
"Liam!" I called back but he looked back at me as I smiled but he didn't as he looked bothered and a little pissed.
"I see what you were talking about now." I told Mason as he just sighed.
I thought about going to Liam but from his facial expression it looked like he just wanted to be left alone.
"I heard about your dad, is he okay?" Mason asked.
"How do you know?" I asked him.
"Liam told me." He said as I nodded.
"Yeah thankfully, he's okay." I said as Mason gave me a smile.
"If you ever need someone to talk to just call me." He said as I couldn't help but smile at him as he was so sweet.
"I know." I said as he returned the smile.
Classes passed as well as the time obviously, and still no sign of Liam. Scott told me he saw him going in class so that's good, I just don't know why he's avoiding us.
It was lunch time now as Mason and I finished our lunch as we tried calling Liam.
"Wanna go look for him?" I asked Mason as he nodded.
We got up as we began walking.
We ended up reaching the weight room and he was there.
"There you are, we've been looking everywhere for you." I said but he was just bench pressing.
"Liam." I said as I wasn't sure why he wasn't responding to us.
He got up as he grabbed more weight plates putting them on each side.
"Liam." Mason said.
"What?!" Liam said annoyed.
I was taken back from his tone.
"Why you acting like this?" I asked.
"I just want to be left alone okay?" He said.
"You seriously don't think you will be able to lift that right?" Mason said as he was about to stop him.
"What are you doing?!" Liam asked.
"I'm spotting you so you don't die." Mason said.
"I'm fine." Liam said putting more weights.
I walked up behind him as he was too busy putting on weights.
"Liam what's wrong?" I asked as I touched his shoulder, which was a bad idea. He turned around looking angry and scared as he pushed me as I fell backwards.
"I said I'm fine!" He yelled before he pushed me.
Mason came to me asking me if I was alright. Few tears beamed up in my eyes as I looked at Liam, this isn't Liam.
He looked at me as his facial expression soften.
"Grace I'm so sorr--" I cut him off.
"Save it, you want to be left alone, we will leave you alone." I said as Mason helped me up and we began walking out.
I blinked away my tears as Mason gently put his hand on my shoulder.
"You okay?" He asked.
"Y-yeah don't worry." I said.
"You sure?" He asked as I nodded.
"He's probably just stressing over the game or something. He's usually not like this unless something or someone is bothering him." He said.
"Who cares, tonight me and you will have fun at the bonfire." I said giving him a smile as he returned it.
As we were watching I turned around as if I felt someone staring at me seeing Liam looking at me as Scott was beside him but I looked away and continued walking.Liam's POV:
I couldn't sleep the whole night without thinking or seeing the berserkers in my room. I even can see them at school, especially today. I couldn't be around anyone because I'm afraid I would hurt them; especially Grace.I was in the weight room hoping lifting weights would take my mind off of this.
As I was lifting the weights it felt too easy so I began putting more but people came in and it was Grace and Mason. I didn't want to see them I really didn't. Well I wanted to see them but I just couldn't.
Mason was going to spot me but I didn't need anyone's help, I'm a werewolf I'm supposed to be strong.
Someone touched my shoulder as I turned around seeing a berserker as I pushed it.
I shut my eyes in fright opening it again as I heard her heartbeat beating fast. She's scared, she's scared of me.
I couldn't believe I did that, I didn't know it was her.
She went out with Mason as I hated myself for being like this. I sat on the bench as I laid down lifting the ton of weight I made for myself as I felt so weak.
I wasn't able to lift the weight as I was struggling. I thought that was karma hitting me up the ass for being a dick to my friends. I wanted to call back for them but wasn't able to till someone lifted it up as I breathed. It was Scott.
"I get it if you don't want to be with us, but don't push away your friends." He said as I had my hand on my chest trying to calm my heartbeat.
He helped me up as we walked out as I heard few sniffles as I looked up seeing her.
I made her cry, I hurt her and scared her. She walked away as she turned back as we looked at each other. I felt like a berserker stabbed my heart as she turned her head away and continued walking.
"Let's go." Scott said as I nodded walking with him.
