Getting into the kraang base had been easier than Deer had expected. Well, for her anyways. As usual for missions, she got a piggyback ride from whichever lucky turtle got stuck with her. Normally it was Mikey or Leon, but today Raphael was one stuck with her. He actually hadn't given her a choice, probably because of how annoyed he seemed at the moment. Not that she minded, all she had to do was listen and keep her head tucked close in case Raphael made any sudden jumps.

Suddenly, the turtle came to a stop.

"Okay, we're at the entrance to the underwater base." Leonardo started, his voice in a low whisper. Deer could only assume there was kraang nearby, otherwise Leonardo wouldn't be whispering. "I'm going to go ahead. Raphael, you and Mikey will be in the middle. Donnie, I need you to navigate. We don't know what to expect once we get down there." the leader described what the plan was. Raphael gave a grunt in response and Deer felt herself be lifted up as the turtle adjusts his hold on her. Carefully, she wrapped her arms around his neck, figuring he'd want her to hang on.

"Any questions?" Leo asked.

With no reply, she heard the door as it creaked open, and she couldn't help but grit her teeth as she cringed at the noise. Raphael started moving again, following after Leonardo. Her ears were perked as cool air was past the door. She didn't hear any sounds, until they got further down. It felt like something in the air changed, and she had a feeling that they were now underwater. Deer heard Michelangelo as he was grabbing his nunchucks, the chain connecting the weapon jingled as he unsheathed it. Preparing for a possible attack. She assumed. Raphael made no move to grab his weapons, and, for a moment, she wondered if she should try and grab the weapons for him.

Giving a small sniff, the mutant was disappointed when the air smelled stale. Another door creaked open as Raphael and the others came to a stop. The silence in the air was uncomfortable for the cat, it was way too quiet. Slowly, her head peeked out from behind Raphael's head. Her blind gaze blinked curiously in front of her.

"Shit." Raphael muttered, before she let out a yelp at him suddenly ducking down. The sound of the lasers firing filled the hallway and seemed to echo as the turtles were moving around. Raphael did a hard jerk to the left, before jerking downwards. She clung tightly onto him as she heard Leonardo's katanas slashing through the kraang as the robots fell apart, their metal bodies landing on the ground with loud thuds. Quickly, the turtles started moving again, and it seemed Raphael's priorities had shifted. "Hold on." the turtle said and let go of her as he grabbed his own weapons. Deer nodded her head as she held onto the turtle.

Lasers continued to shoot at them as the turtles were dodging them. Deer heard the kraang bots being stabbed, slashed, and bashed by each turtle respectfully.

"Guys!" Donatello called. He sounded a little ways away. "This way!"

Raphael's body immediately turned, though he seemed hesitant to move. She was unsure what it was he was seeing, especially when Leo and Mikey had bolted past them. Finally, Raphael followed after them. Donatello had led them to a vent, and Raphael had slid her off of his back and had Deer go inside before him, before he was quick to climb in after. The sound lasers hit the wall next to the vent door as Raphael slammed it shut.

She could hear the kraang talking as they were crawling inside of the vents. Well, there goes the stealthy part of the mission. She thought, a snort of amusement almost escaping from her. "What now, Leo?" she asked, lowering her voice.

"Well, I guess this is where you come in. We don't know where we are, and these vents are kind of dark." Leonardo responded. Deer's ears pricked up in surprise. While she genuinely had no idea whether it was dark or not inside of the vent, it was all the same to her. Then, something clicked.
