love u too igrosie smiled at her phone, then shut it off and got cozy and ready to fall asleep.
"you're home!" tara yelled, running up and hugging her before rosie even got through the door.
"hi, t." rosie said, her voice muffled by tara's hair.
"missed you. how's daisy?"
"she's better. way better. back to joking again." rosie said, setting her bag to the side.
"you're home!" sam said, coming out of his room. "wondered what everyone was yelling about."
he hugged her tightly. "she's okay?"
"she's perfect."
"you're home!" colby said, also coming out of his room.
"jake, i think im home. i dunno tho." rosie said, turning to jake who was the only one who didn't say 'you're home!".
jake laughed. "i do t think you're home."
"nah, didn't think so." rosie said, chuckling but stopping when colby hugged her.
he immediately pulled back. "that was weird."
"yeah, it was." sam said.
"wow, guys i wasn't at war, okay? i was in kansas."
"that's technically war in itself." tara said.
"hey! you're boyfriend is from kansas." jake said.
"who? i don't have a boyfriend?" tara said, tilting her head with a grin as she sat back down next to jake.
"what are you watching?" rosie asked, flopping down next to them.
"what's your number. chris evans is so fine in this." tara said.
"ugh, real." jake said.
"i wanna watch. what part are we at?" rosie asked.
"the basketball scene. my favourite." tara said.
"yum."
"dude, you are so gonna pass out." colby said.
a couple hours had passed, jake and tara had gone home and kat and sam had gone to bed. it was only colby and rosie in the living room watching superstore.
"no, no i'm not. my eyes are just...resting."
"no, you're tired. cmon, you got off a plane a couple hours ago, you're tired."
"i'm not tired, colby. im just enjoying the show." rosie said, then yawned.
colby just shook his heads head, silence filled the room before he turned to her again. "are you okay?"
"huh? what do you mean?" rosie said, looking up at him with a confused look.
"are you okay?" he repeated. "you're bestfriend just got into a car crash."
"oh, uh...i'm okay. it was a bit scary, but she's okay so i'm okay." she said.
"yeah, that's all that matters." he mumbled.
silence filled the air again, only the conversation between amy and jonah playing.
colby got distracted in the episode, and hadn't noticed rosie falling dead asleep next to him.
"okay, it's 2:30am, time for bed- oh." he said, looking next to him and finding her with her head resting on her own shoulder. he sighed, standing up, moving her legs so that they were on the couch, and shifting her body down so she was led down instead of sat up.
he grabbed one of the massive throw blankets and covered her in it, even lifting her head and sliding a pillow underneath it.
he smiled at her before making his way to his room, the smile never wavering.
