Me and El walk into school٫ just chatting about the upcoming project that we unfortunately have to do٫ but then I see Mike٫ El's boyfriend. He sees us and walks up to us

M: "perfect!- um would you guys want to go to the Halloween party tonight? I think Chad is hosting it."

J: "of course! we'll be there."
M: "perfect! here are the cards."

Mike hands me and El a card٫ it was the invite. I was slightly disappointed El dragged me into this٫ but I was mostly excited to see what Mike was going to be wearing.

W: "oh..thats cool. But wouldn't you wanna match with him? He's your boyfriend after all..."
J: "Will me and Mike broke up a week ago..."
