A cumulus veil drifted over the tallest peaks,
Gliding before plummeting into gullies carved deep.
Blackened was the land when it came overhead,
Engulfing rivers with tendrils that stretch every onward
Above that, the stratocumulus clouds choking blue,
Large was its size to remain in clear view.
Different formations clumping together,
A kink of the neck to get a full measure.
A thick plume arose from the ground,
A chimney that omitted a toxic shroud.
Swirling in the air above, the clouds fouled,
Unleashing a downpour of acid.
