"WWWHHHHHAAAAT?! What do you mean I'm being executed?!"

Y/n was utterly flabbergasted. Scared shitless even. As this random white haired woman just announced his execution.

Shinobu chuckles at him. She looks down at him and begins explaining

"Yeah, it's a bummer. You see, you ate a super duper important cursed object that the higher ups were looking for, saying something about "giving someone unspeakable ability's" or something like that" she tells y/n while waving her hand in the air

Y/n was sweating bullets, instantly regretting eating the dumb fruit "look! I was hungry! How was I supposed to know that it was some powerful fruit or something?!" Y/n yelled frantically

Shinobu expression slowly changed, into one less serious as she bursts into laughter, fuming y/n to the point he was tugging himself rom the chains

"You're laughing at my premature death?! Are you serious?!" Y/n yelled at her with tick marks above his head, aswell as gritting his teeth.

Shinobu slowly stopped laughing and calmed herself. "Man, you being all scared and shit is funny! Your funny kid!" She tells him. She then gets up and walk toward him.

Y/n watches as the very very tall woman looms above him. She stares down at him with smirk.

"Look kid, consider this your lucky day, because I managed to get your execution suspended!" She says with jazz hands. Y/n tilts his head in
confusion

Shinobu clears her throat and begins to explain "look, while most of the higher ups wanted you to be killed, some of them wouldn't be sure if the power of the fruit would be dead along with you. As it seems it's bonded with your existence" she explain to him while poking his chest

Y/n slowly begins to understand his predicament, calming himself, he begins his questions "wait, so does that mean I'm not gonna die for now?"

"Yeah, pretty much. I also managed to convince them to give you time to prove yourself, as while your were unconscious, I sensed some dormant potential beyond the gum gum fruit" y/n hums to himself, sensing some sort of pride

"So what you're saying is I'm pretty strong right?" "'Not at all" and just like that, y/n's pride shot down as soon as it shot up.

"W-what?? But you said-" "I said you have potential to be strong, never said anything about you being strong right now, kiddo." Y/n pouts. Making the woman chuckle.

"Now, that's where your choice comes in" y/n chirps up "huh?"

Shinobu kneels down infront of him. Eyeing him in the eyes "you have a choice, join a school with others to learn how to kill things like that monster you fought at the forest, or just prolong your inevitable death. Your choice"
