Helpless

The city lights blinds the night sky with its shimmering colors. The horns and sirens filled the quiet streets while the sounds of drunken laughter roams the sidewalks. Amongst the many glittering buildings lies a very popular place that's called the Triple Threat. It was a restaurant, a bar, and a dance club which pleases every one of all adult stages. The Triple Threat is run by two brothers after they used some of their inheritance from their father who passed away when they were seventeen years old. The business flourished once they opened it up when they were twenty one years old, with business, restaurant, cooking and bartending degrees in hand. They soon hire their close friends who become the best employees. Now at age twenty five they're one of the richest people in the city along with the help of one of the brother's fiancé whose very wealthy family invested in the business after its first year of success. Yet there's just one thing that's bothering one of their friends.

The place was in the process of shutting down for the holiday season and the friends are looking forward to some well deserved rest. Yet one seems to be helplessly distracted and sad seeing a male black hedgehog with red streaks smiling at a beautiful pink female hedgehog. She sighs seeing his smile and his ruby eyes shine in love, but not with her with the pink hedgehog. The two talked as the pink hedgehog was counting the money at the register while the female purple cat looks at them feeling helpless. "You have that look again Blaze" a male voice said snapping her back to reality her golden eyes look over at a male blue hedgehog in a button down dark blue shirt, black pants and a silver engagement ring on his finger. "Hey Sonic...." The car said and wipes off a few glasses on the bar. "Hey mind telling me what's eating at you? I mean I have started to notice you glancing at my brother and his girlfriend." Sonic said leaning forward on the bar table. "Sonic it's nothing re—" "I call bullshit Blaze and you know I know when you're lying. Tell me how long have we been friends?" He rose a brow and she sighed. "Since we were in kindergarten....." she said. "Yep so what's up?" He asked. "Sonic I can't tell you here they might hear...." She folded her cat ears and puts the glasses away. "Blaze they're about to leave so tell me and it'll stay between us." He smiled. "You already know don't you...." She asked and he sighed. "Yeah but I want to hear you say it Blaze. Who knows I could be wrong" he said and she watches the two leave before looking back at Sonic. "Fine.... I'm secretly in love with your brother shadow..... but I was too late and he's with Amy.... my best friend. Sonic I lost my chance....." Blaze tears up and he hands her a napkin. "Hey who knows it might not work out.... But you might find someone else." Sonic said in a warm tone as Blaze dabs her eyes. "Yeah right.... Who would want a woman that doesn't have size D or DD breast....." Blaze hugs herself over her C cup breast. "Stop that right now Blaze you are a very beautiful woman. Any man who doesn't see that is a looser." Sonic said making her smile. "Thanks sonic that means a lot" she said. "Of couRSE" Sonic jolted when he felt someone smack his ass and turned seeing a red male echidna walking and looking over his shoulder then winked as he entered an office room. "I know that look you better get going to satisfy your red" she smirked. "Knuckles can wait there's something el—" "Sonic just go we can finish talking later." She smiled and goes back to her work. "Promise?" He said and she nods. "Ok I'll talk to you later." He said and walks to his office. Not moments later as she was putting the bottles away she saw a male yellow two tailed Fox approaching the office door. "I wouldn't Tails" she said. "Why not Bl—" "Fuck me harder red baby!~" Sonic's loud moans echoed making Tails jump. "Nevermind" he said and walks up to the bar. "Need a shot after hearing that?" She asked and poured a bottle with caramel liquid inside. "Yep..... because I'm getting flashbacks walking in on them and let's just say I didn't know Sonic was that flexible." Tails said and takes the shot letting the warm burn of the whiskey glide down his throat. "So you and cream got plans for the break?" She asked. "I guess Sonic hadn't told you yet" he said. "Told me what?" She asked as she cleaned the shot glass.
