Blaze stirs the light brown clear liquid in the porcelain mug lost deep in her mind once more. "I have to get over him..... yet his ruby eyes are always stuck in my head and he's just so.... Perfect..... sigh." She thought as she tapped the spoon on the rim then took a sip of the tea. The warm liquid glides down her throat and warms up her body making her feel relaxed after a long day. Her eyes glance out the window as snow starts to fall lightly then checks her phone for the time. "Guess Knux is giving Sonic a really good time" she chuckles to herself happy for the engaged couple. "You have no idea" she jumps hearing Sonic's voice and looks up seeing him and Knuckles. "Hey what took ya?" She asked as they sat in the booth across from her. "Well after we got done I had some papers to finished off before locking up." Sonic explained. "Plus I had to make sure the kitchen was cleaned and everything was put away because knowing his brother, shadow would not be happy." Knuckles said picking up the menu from its stand. "That is true" blaze said and takes another sip of her tea. The waitress walks over and takes the two men's order then left. "So sonic sorta filled me in on what's going on." Knuckles said resting his arm on the back of the booth behind sonic. "You think I'm crazy don't you...." She asked. "Hell no but don't doubt yourself got it?" He said and she nods. "Anyways how's the wedding planning going? Has your mom and step dad come around?" Blaze asked Sonic. "Ha! No and I don't care those two can choke on an egg for all I care. Aleena only cared about dad's inheritance. Boy was she surprised when we inherited it all. Last I heard she and that step bastard are chilling in Rome." Sonic said and the waitress brings their orders and drinks. "Thank you miss" knuckles said and she nods then leaves. Knuckles picks up the cup and sips on the warm latte. "I will say this though his parents are very happy about the wedding." Sonic chuckled and knuckles rolled his violet eyes smiling. "My mother mostly because she had been waiting for me to find someone. Of course my little sister is jealous once again because her older brothers are getting attention." Knuckles smirked. "Isn't she like 17?" Blaze asked. "Yep but she sometimes wishes me and my two older brothers weren't born. She always has to be the center of dad's attention for the little princess she is but hey she's a pain yet we still love her." He said. "I think your parents spoil her too much" Sonic said. "She is the only girl and the baby in the family but she still understands hard work somehow but that's how we were all raised." Knuckles shrugged. "I'm still mad at you for not telling me you were fuck you rich during the first year of dating." Sonic playfully pouts making Blaze and knuckles chuckle. "Hey can you blame me? I had gold digger exes before you." He said and Sonic playfully elbows him. "Yeah I know" he smiled. "Anyways sorry we got side tracked the other thing I wanted to, well we wanted to tell you is that we're inviting all of you up for a stay at our cabin for the holidays. Ya know get out of the city and enjoy some fresh air." Sonic smiled. "Guys that's sweet but I can't take advantage of that." Blaze said. "Do you have plans?" Knuckles asked and she sighed. "No just me.... Some Dracula movies and a bottle of wine." She said. "Well how about this you can have that at the cabin but still be with friends. You don't need to be alone for the holidays again Blaze. Please come" Sonic does his puppy eyes and she sighed. "Ok ok I'll go" she smirked and he smiled. "SWEET!" He said. "You sure you want to marry him?" She smirked and knuckles laughed. "He's too damn cute and it's adorable when he begs." Knuckles replied and they laugh. "So when are we all meeting up and leaving?" She asked.
