Walking in the woods was a grizzly bear

He found himself alone in a new part of the forest

He had no idea where to go

His family of bears sent him to go find honey

And so there he was exploring

Looking for honey so he can go home and feed them

The bear quickly got lost and was afraid

Of the new scary environment he found himself in

Suddenly, he saw a small white cat walk past

The bear was startled and growled at the cat

The cat remain unfazed and meows softly back

The cat noticed the bear was lost

The cat noticed the bear was looking for honey
The cat was more familiar with the forest

So the bear allowed for the cat to jump on his back

And guide him to the honey he needed

As they explored the forest

They both realized they had a lot in common

They both loved to eat fish

They both loved to scratch their backs on trees
They spent a lot of time together in the forest

The bear realized that the cat was afraid of the forest

The cat was afraid of the elk and deers

And of the wolves that lurked in the forest

The bear noticed and wanted to protect the cat

The cat was tiny and fragile

The bear showed no fear around the cat

The bear didn't want the cat to worry

The bear scared off the wolves

And fought off the hunters

That wanted to make mittens of the cat

And they ended up becoming close

They kept journeying through the forest

Suddenly, they encountered a jaguar in the woods

The jaguar wanted to join them in their journey

The bear was apprehensive but the cat was not

The cat and the jaguar started eating fish together

The cat and the jaguar used the trees as back scratchers

The cat rode on the jaguar's back instead of the bear

The bear missed the feeling of the cat being on his back

The bear also missed fishing with the cat

The bear also missed sharing trees with the cat

The jaguar also took the role as protector

The jaguar fended off wolves and hunters

Better than the bear ever could

The bear would only scare them off

The bear didn't want to hurt them

The jaguar didn't mind eating the hunters and the wolves

The bear became sad that the cat wouldn't meow at him

The cat would meow at the jaguar

They understood each other better

Better than the bear ever could
The bear felt lonely even though the bear wasn't alone

The bear and the jaguar would fight over fish

The bear and the jaguar would fight over territory

And finally, the bear and the jaguar would fight over the cat

They fought over the role as protector over the cat

One day, the cat accidentally scratched the bear

The bear was hurt by this
The bear ran out of the cave and into the wilderness

Away from the cat and the jaguar

The bear found himself alone again

The bear still needed to find his honey

The jaguar found his role as protector of the cat

And the cat found a warm back to ride on for the winter

It started to rain and the bear raced into a cave

To find a cave filled with honey

The bear was excited
He grabbed all the honey he can carry

He ran back to the warm embrace of his pack

The pack congratulated him with kisses and hugs

In the back of the bear's head, the bear still thought

About the furry feline friend the bear met in the woods

The bear stood atop of a boulder
And let out the biggest growl
The bear heard a loud meow in response

Coming from the woods

The bear knew that the cat was safe with the jaguar

The bear walked away to a new home with his pack

While the cat and the jaguar walked to new horizons

Away from each other but never forgetting the time
