Ren's POV
Well, it's just me and Mona again.
I'd be losing my mind if it wasn't for him. It's been two years since I've seen the guys...
Ok it's been two months but it FEELS like years. I miss Sum- s s Sojiro I miss Sojiro. Alright fine I miss Sumi, I never had a chance to tell her how I feel...
Okay I had many chances, but that was before I realised how I felt.
Maybe I could get Mitsuru to help me take some time off school again.
"You never get tired of sleeping on my lap do you?"
"Nope. And I never will."
"Well aren't you being honest with your feelings for once."
"Oh no don't misunderstand, I'm simply claiming what is rightfully mine, this lap is now mine to sleep in."
"Uh huh, just say it Mona."
"Say what?"
"You love me."
"Psh don't flatter yourself, although hearing those words from you would be acceptable."
"It's ok Mona I love you too."
He doesn't speak but lets out a tiny meow that shows he's embarrassed.
"Hey Ren?"
"Yeah?"
"How are you?"
That was unexpected.
"I'm okay Mona, and you?"
"I'm... great actually, spending time with you and the others, it feels like home to me. But lately I've noticed, it's not quite the same for you."
"What do you mean?"
"Ren, you're in love aren't you?"
"HUH?!"
"I don't know who, yet, but you have the same look as me when I thought about lady Ann."
"Is it that obvious? I mean that's crazy? I'm not in love with Sum- uh nothing!"
Oh crud I'm tripping over my words.
"Sum? Yoshizawa? Sumire? You're in love with her?"
"I... a little."
"Well well well Ren, and here I thought I'd have to take care of you forever."
"As if I'm not taking care of you."
"Hey, as your big broth-"
"Little brother Mona."
"ANYWAY! You had this look in your eyes like something was missing, like you yearned for something. Now I know that it was actually someone, by the way you just told me it was actually love."
He tricked me. I'm gonna remember this.
"Ok fine I have a crush on Sumi so what?"
"So everything Ren, aren't you gonna tell her?"
"I... need to find the right time. She's really busy right now with her gymnastics."
"When did you start to like her-"
Ding Ding
Saved by the bell.
It's Aigis, she's messaging me... never really talked to her much.
"Oh it's Aigis, what's she saying?"
"That she wants to talk to me."
