I would be in front of a portal my team and I had been working on for quite some time now. I had guards on high alert, and couldn't wait to get things started.
"We're about to have the forces we need to fight the DPC."
Don't get ahead of yourself yet, Michael. It could fail.
I sighed.
"Well, at least I'm being optimistic. Jerry, start up the machine!"
I shouted out this command towards the scientist in charge of turning on the machine. It made the usual starting up noises heard from a big machine, and then some electricity crackled. I waited a second longer before bringing my fist back, and throwing a punch. A quick bolt of purple energy shot out, and into the machine. I stood back, hoping it wouldn't explode, and soon smiled widely. A small crack appeared, and then it grew bigger, bigger... and bam. I was thrown back by a burst of air.
"Fuck."
I fell to the floor, but quickly got up.
"What's the status on the portal!?"
"It's stable, sir!"
I looked through it, and our eyes locked. The head of the DCI. I walked forward, and he walked through. I presented a hand, and soon it was being shaken.
"Welcome to Urbanshade's best."
"It's good to meet the person who has Virus inside of him. He usually doesn't work with or for people."
"We made things work. Jerry, leave us alone in here. We need to talk... business."
He nodded, and left the room. Some guards of different kinds came through the portal next. They wore some gear, had some guns, and were mostly drones from Murder drones. There were a couple other species though.
"So, I should ask your name. Virus never really told me anything about you Mr.DCI."
"I'm named Michael as well. Funny how that's just the name we all have. You can call me Mr.DCI as you did just now, though."
A certain anthropomorphic cat would walk right besides him. Orange fur. Had those big orange eyes. Calvin from Lackadaisy. I shook his hand next. I combed through his memories quickly by sending a bit of my energy in and out of him.
"Huh. Absolute solver. One of those rare mixes I see."
"He's my best guard. He was from a text role play dimension. The two role players ended up not finishing it, the dimension decayed, but he was left alive in the black void. I picked him up, and he's been loyal ever since. Doesn't really talk though."
I nodded before walking over to a table with some chairs. I sat down at it, and Mr.DCI sat in front of me. Calvin would stand right next to him. I'd say,
"So, I know it took some convincing from Virus to get you here. He took over my body and used that transmitter to get to you. He's blocked the conversations from my memory."
"It did. Now I have to ask why we should become allies."
"I know that you must be hesitant to work with an organization that didn't know about dimensional teleportation till I came along. Don't worry. We're capable. Jerry! Bring 'em in!"
Soon Jerry would walk in with a cage and placed it down. The slug cat was in it. Mr. DCI would gasp and ask,
"How did you get... one of their best."
"They've been sending a multitude of different assassins after me. I captured this one after a small battle."
"I guess it's an eye for an eye since they took Glitch, the first electricity based super entity."
"Didn't know my kind had a little... designation."
"It's just what we call your type. Hum. We do want you on our side. It's just... Urbanshade seems like... an inconvenience."
"Well then... follow me."
I would get up, and his guards would quickly surround him and walk behind me. We were walking towards heavy containment.
"So, may I ask what are you going to show us?"
"Well... have you heard of Sebastian Solace?"
"Yes. We actually have a couple operatives that are different versions of him."
"Good." I chuckled. "We have him in containment."
"Okay. Why is this important?"
"It's because of his companion. He has natural plot armor. You know, the stuff that just exists on main characters so they don't die to characters without plot armor."
"Well... fuck. That's good. Why is it so important though. I understand that it would be quite useful to have somebody with plot armor, but the DPC has many main characters on their side."
"Well... then you'll be happy to hear... he's a clover."
He stayed silent. Even the guards around him seemed shocked.
"He's... one of those unkillable people then?"
"More like an unkillable simp. That's the name of the fanfic anyways."
We would enter an observation room.
"Oh. He's from a fanfic. Ugh. I can already tell the catch."
We would walk up some stairs, and one of the people assigned to watching the duo was waiting there for me.
"W-welcome sir."
"Hello, announcer. Where are the two?"
"Well... Z-13 got some smokes... Z-356 began conversing with Z-13... and they got frisky. They're in their private room now. The one they use for... Ehem... intercourse."
"I swear. Every fanfic I've heard of has some sort of sex in it. Of course it had to be a Sebastian x OC."
That was Mr. DCI. He sighed and said,
"Well... it's better then having nobody like him. What has he survived?"
"Multiple of our guards, pandemonium, and other life threatening situations. Unlike the SCP version of him, he doesn't take luck from anybody else. He just... seems to have it."
"Interesting. He's... a very valuable asset. Especially on the battle field."
"We still haven't tested if his luck can be used for other stuff, like gambling or shooting. If he's a terrible shot, we might just send him out into battle with a knife and hope for the best."
He nodded. That's when the two would walk out of the room. Z-356 would be panting a lot, but at least he came out with his clothing on. Z-13 would soon follow, also clothed.
"What if Z-356 tries disobeying you?"
I chuckled and quickly turned on the intercom.
"Smile boys. You're both on camera in front of a very... important person. I'm sorry I have to do this Z-13, but I need to show I'm in control."
They'd look confused, and that's when I used my Virus I implanted in him to quickly subdue him. He'd scream a bit before being slowly forced down on the ground. Z-356 would Yelp and crouch down next to Z-13. Seconds later, I let go of Z-13. He was panting, and slowly brought himself up.
"A-356 cares about Z-13. He's the only one in the world he cares about other than the painter. It's been quite a useful tool. If he disobeys me, Z-13 dies. He has no other use to us after all."
I then turned off the intercom. I had kept it on to let Z-356 hear. He had been cooperative so far, but I knew he might try escaping still. This would show Mr. DCI that I had control, and showed Z-356 how futile it would be to fight back.
"Now... let me show you the rest of our facilities."
And then I would start to walk him out to show him our other assets.
