Chapter 1 - A New Venture

• 02:16, 1st of January, 2022
- My Bedroom

Let's start from the beginning! My name is Voltie Aurora. I am 13 years old. I am a female Eevee looking for an adventure to help a race of Pokémon. These Pokémon are Pichus, Pikachus, and Raichus. Even though I'm not exactly the strongest Pokémon around, I'd like to help them. I couldn't exactly help an old friend of mine, so I wanted that to change. Maybe I'll even run to him in the near future, but who knows?

My big brother's name is Avalanche Aurora. He's silent, yet he's full of stories. He is a shiny Eevee. If it's not obvious, my whole family is all Eevees. From the oldest one to the youngest one. I'm the youngest out of my 20 siblings. Wait, am I talking too much? I'm talking too much, aren't I? I deeply apologise-!

"Volt, can you shut up? I'm trying to sleep." Another Eevee scolded me and threw an Eevee plushy at me. Ouch.

"Hey! What was that fo-" Another Eevee plushy was thrown at me by a different Eevee. "H-hey... W-what was that f-for...?"

The Eevee who threw it goes back to sleep. The first Eevee whispers to me to be quiet. Sheesh, but I want to play!

"Shut up, dude. The two of us WANTED to sleep." The first Eevee shouted.

"But, sis..."

"Don't call me sis. I'm only 6 days older than you."

"Then what am I supposed to call you!?" I asked her while shouting.

"Just call me by my full name. It's Chrysanthemum Aurora." She told me with an aggressive tone.

"But it's too lo-" Just then, a giant Eevee plushy was thrown at us. "KEEP IT DOWN!" The other Eevee screamed at us. Just then, I could faintly hear someone else shouting from another room. I guess not today, huh...?

• 10:23, 1st of January, 2022
- My Bedroom, Again

I woke up a bit later than I wanted. Both my sisters had already gone downstairs. I stretched a bit before grabbing my towel and going downstairs.

On the way down, I could still see the shining star in our family; a shiny Eevee. That shiny Eevee is the oldest sibling in our family. His name is Avalanche. He wore a black jacket with yellow rings around certain parts, replicating an Umbreon's iconic rings. Funnily enough, it was yellow instead of blue, but it made sense since shiny Umbreons have yellow rings in this world. Might not be the case with every single universe, but who cares about all that? He said that he works as a rescuer, yet I never saw or heard anyone speak of him before. He's quite the mystery. Today is the day that I stalk him and learn what he really is doing.

In fact, if my theory is correct, he's working for a secret rebellion organisation! An organisation located within the deepest depths of Viridian Forest, which is just across the city. I immediately took a shower. I put on everything as quickly as I could without doing sloppy work. I've only got enough time to look fabulous~

After a while, I was done. I shook myself dry, making sure that most of the water on my fur was gone in seconds. I dashed upstairs, and maybe I fell on the stairs twice, hehe. Anyways, I put on my iconic hoodie. It was a Leafeon themed hoodie. I've always wanted to be a Leafeon! They're just so cute! I also wore green striped thigh highs. I don't know what you guys think about a 13 year old wearing thigh highs, but it sure is fine here, so I don't care~! I think I'm hiding enough of my body. I hope so-
I'm yapping again, aren't I? Ugh, so stupid...

I dashed downstairs and fell. Guess that's why they don't tell you to run up or down the stairs. As I finally hit the floor, I heard a young male voice. I look up to see Avalanche talking to me.

"Be careful next time, sis." He sighed at me. Then he walks outside. He's not even gonna help me up!? Well, I guess it's fair, considering that he's the only male Eeveelution in the family besides dad... I got up on my paws and walked to the dining table.
