"Are you sure you want to do that?" Young Master sternly asked his close friend, who was dressed in human law officer clothes. How can he even get this stupid idea?

"Yes, chauffer me around for tonight. I need to find him," His friend said, hands fumbling all over his body to get the uniform right.

"Well, I did not expect you to be the proposing type." Young master sassed. He carefully followed his friend outside the mansion, not to alert the sleeping maid or his parents. He couldn't confide in anyone as it involved his dear friend's love life so he had to slip before anyone noticed.

"Did you take the fake license?" his friend asked ignoring the remark.

"Yes, " the young master checks his pockets for the small square card which had a fake name. The boys entered the woods the most direct route to reach the cabbie. It took almost an hour to cross the trees, his friend walking ahead determined. They held hands all the way and the grip became strong at times. On the human side, the young master doesn't know how but a normal car is waiting for them.

"Did you buy it?" he asked, admiring the new brandish-looking car. He looked at the logo in front having no idea of the brand.

"Yes, I searched for the famous ride and this popped up."

"Looks expensive," he murmured under his breath as he took the driver's seat. Well, he learned driving this from the maid a while ago; it was because he didn't want to go to the horse riding class. The maid lets him have fun with the old garbage car by teaching him.

The ride was for half an hour; the young master was confident in his skills but still nearly ran into cars twice and might have broken a few signals. His friend was visibly stressed, bouncing his legs. The handsome and intimating face lost in thought, occasionally looking at Rune for comfort. Rune couldn't do much. He should keep his eyes on the road if they wanted to live to see tomorrow.

They lost track of the road three times, both still not losing their calm, finally finding the right house at which the party was held. The house was well lit, and low sound booming music reached the road. It was well considerately small. How could so many people gather in such a tiny place?

His friend turned to look at him, eyes watery. Rune had seen him being this vulnerable only twice before, and they weren't good reasons; however, now, it was an excellent reason to be like this.

"God, he is poor if he attains such events. " His friend sobbed. Rune pulled the man into a hug, burying the crying face on his shoulder. He gently patted his back to calm him down. It took a minute or two for his friend to stabilise his emotions and to be determined again. The intimidating aristocratic features returned, his eyes glazing in the familiar arrogant expressions.

"I will wait in the car-"

"You promised."

Rune wished to curse at his friend and huffed, removing the seat belt. "Fine. Let us go inside."

"Wear your mask."

"Why?"

"The event here has a dress code which is to imitate someone. However, it is also okay if you dress creatively."

"And you decided to be a law officer?"

"Yes."

"And you didn't think of telling me previously?"

"You have improvised with much less."

"You are a hard guy to deal with."

"No wonder, my sweet pet ran away. I just asked him if he could date me. That is very common on the human side. I think I scared him away because he said he didn't expect me to ask him out. But he did not give me a proper answer."
