About: King John Koopa I accended the Koopa Throne after defeating the SharpFang forces, banishing them from the Kingdom ending The SharpFang War. This led to him becoming known as 'The Hero King'. He alowed the SharpFang citizens to remain in the kingdom however as they played no part in the war. He had a very peaceful reign and spent most of it trying to restore the kingdom to it's former glory. John was a kind and honorable man who was greatly popular among his fellow nobles. He was especially close friends with Lord Lawrence Montegue who served him loyally throughout his reign. Although they were good friends, the two had a short-lived fued over John's wife Queen Maria, leading many to beleive that Lawrence may have had an affair with her. However, many consider this to be compleate poppy-cock. John I died in 1248, many of the kingdom's people were saddened by his death.
