In a Forest, two boys run through the rain as they desperately look around for something
???: They have to be close! They wouldn’t have gone far!
???: Calm down, Eren. We’ll find her. Don’t worry.
Eren: How can you be so sure?! Or calm?! She could be gone for all we know!
???: Eren, enough. They won’t run far. With this rain they can’t risk taking her otherwise she’ll get sick and possibly die.
Eren: Do you hear yourself?! You’re a mad man, Matthuas! If you don’t care, I’ll find her myself!
Eren takes off running
Tomas: Eren, wait! Damn it! Grisha, why does your son have to be an idiot compared to you?
Tomas takes off after Eren
Tomas: “Mikasa, she’s too valuable to be hurt. The worst that can happen is some bruises and…that trauma…Seeing those two dead. Dammit. If worst comes to worst I’ll transform partially to find her.”
Tomas continues running looking for Eren, before seeing Eren standing still as he grabs his shoulder and turns him to face him
Tomas: Don’t you ever run again! What if one of those men found you?! You’ll be dead!
Eren: It doesn’t matter! All that matter is that we save her! And I’m confident she’s in there!
Tomas looks where Eren is pointing and sees a cabin
Tomas: Yeah…Eren, stay here. Please. I’ll get your father.
Eren: No. We go now! Or it will be too late!
Tomas: Er- No…You’re right.
Eren: Come on! Let’s go, we can make something up!
Tomas: “He’s right. The moment the rain ends they’ll take off with her. Damnit, why does he have to be right.”
Eren: Matthuas? Everything alright?
Tomas: Uhh, yeah. Just thinking. We’ll…We’ll save her right now. The MP’s nor your father will arrive in time. We can’t waist anytime.
Eren nods and walks towards the cabin as Tomas follows behind him and looks around as he places a hand behind his back
Eren: Matthuas, do you have any kind of weapon?
Tomas: Why do you ask?
Eren: I…I think that we’ll have to hurt them…To save Mikasa.
Tomas: I do.
Eren: Really?!
Tomas nods and pulls out a small knife
Eren: Wow, how did you get that?
Tomas: Don’t ask, Eren. Just save, Mikasa.
Eren takes the knife and runs towards the cabin
Tomas: Wait, you idio-
Tomas watches as Eren goes into the cabin as he follows behind him into the cabin and watches from the corner as Eren knocks on the door as a man opens it
Eren: Excuse me.
Man: Hey, you brat! What are you doing here?!
Eren: Um, uh…I got lost. I was lost in the forest…And I saw this cabin…Please, can I stay here?
Man: A kid like you shouldn’t be walking around the forest alone. There are scary wolves roaming around here. But don’t worry, you have nothing to fear if you come ins-
