"Welcome Contestants. The first game shall commence momentarily."

-Frankie-

A robotic voice spoke to us out of nowhere, and a large red, digital countdown appeared in the middle of the room, floating in the air like a hologram.
"Guys...what does that mean?" Dante asked out loud while backing away from it.
"I don't know." Said Yasper who also followed in backing up.
"It may be bad, but at least it's something new?" Alex suggested as he dragged me and him away from the clock, everyone eventually following suit.

Whatever it was counting down, we didn't have much time. I couldn't help but feel fear for what was to come, yet, there was also a semblance of...excitement?

The time is getting low...and my adrenaline is getting high. 'Whatever you are, bring it on!'

-Asher-

'Please stop, please stop, please stop.' I don't know what's going on, but a giant red timer can't be good. None of this is good, we are in total danger.
I looked down at Frankie, who I had just dragged away from this thing and she's literally shaking with fear. Whatever happens, I have to keep her safe...I just hope that I can..

-Frankie/Asher-

'Let this be fun!/Let this be safe!'

-???-

"Let the game commence!"

Everyone has been taken to separate places, each in their own little cube of sorts. The ground had opened beneath each one and took them to their respective rooms. Now it is time for the first game: a simple questionnaire.

"You will be asked a series of questions. Answer truthfully."

Once the voice stopped speaking, each contestant had a digital screen appear in front of them with the questions laid out for them to answer.

Let's see what they put, shall we?

-Frankie-

"Woah!" I shouted out as the ground opened beneath me. I slid through this dark tunnel before being spit out in the small room, identical to the one I was in before except for size. I dusted myself off and stood up, looking around the confined, plain cube.
"AHH!" I shouted, physically jumping into the air when the booming robot voice started to speak again.

"-answer truthfully."

Wait what, I didn't hear the first part! What are we doing!?

As I was panicking, a small screen appeared in the middle of the room, floating like the timer from before.
"Oh. Hello there." I said as I walked up to it, looking at its contents. 'Questions?' Oh, the voice did say to answer truthfully, so all I have to do is answer the questions, that's easy. Let's see what we've got.
What's your name? Mm, Frankie McAllister. That's pretty easy.
What's your favorite color? Gold. What's with these easy questions?
What DC superhero would you choose to have the powers of? Ooh, this one's a little harder, but I'd say The Flash.
What's the worst thing you've ever done? Yikes, that turned real quick. Ummm, I'd say hurting my first girlfriend. I never meant to hurt her, I'm just not very good at love.
What's your favorite animal? Oh! This is easy! Dragons, or more specifically A night fury.
What's your biggest regret? Okay...these are getting a little personal, but it's the last question, so I'll just get it over with. I'd have to say...it was not telling my mother thank you...

"Questions complete."

'And here we go again.' I was once again sucked into the floor, only this time, instead of going down, I went up and got spit back out in the main room. From the fact that there were others in the room, it's safe to say I didn't answer first. Although, the only ones who were there were Pat, Hunter, Valentino, and Bellamy.
I walked over to them and sat down in front of them, as the four of them were sitting next to each other against the wall.
"Hey, did you guys have to answer questions too?" I asked them. Bellamy nodded, Pat said yes, and Valentino and Hunter didn't answer.
"What questions did you have?" Pat asked me and the three of us, me, him, and Bellamy figured out that everyone had the same questions. By the time we were done talking, others started showing up. Eventually, everyone was back in the room and we were once again sitting in a circle around the middle hologram thing.

"Showing Results."

After the robot voice said this, A strange chart appeared above the timer, which was still at zero. Along the top of the chart were small pictures of each of us, like profile pictures. Each one had a column that went down to the center. Along the left side of the chart were numbers, probably for the games I'm assuming.

As we stared at this chart, something changed. A check mark appeared underneath mine and Alex's photo.
"What's that mean?" Oscar asked.
"I have no idea, I just answered the questions truthfully." Alex replied and I nodded too.
"Ohh..." A lot of the other guys said.
"What?" Alex asked.
"I think they lied." I said to him and he nodded in understanding.
"Okay, but what does that mean?"
"I don't know, but hopefully nothing bad." I sighed out.

As we were discussing, the countdown reset. Setting itself to thirty minutes.
"Guess it's gonna be awhile." Junta said from over on our right. Everyone collectively agreed to settle down, and that's just what we did. I layed down on the ground, taking a nap. 'This isn't so bad, it wasn't very fun though.'

-Asher-

'God, I hope we'll be okay. Whatever those check marks are for, they better not be bad.' I looked down at Frankie who was laying down, going to sleep. 'She's already exhausted'. I softly patted her head, sighing while I stared at her. This place is dangerous...these people could be too. I have to keep her safe.
