Emerson's POV

I honestly think Christian unfollowed me. Since New York, (which was about 2 months ago) I have had no calls, no texts, no Instagram notifications. Absolutely nothing. I understood that he was busy on tour and stuff, and I knew he lived somewhere far away in a different state too, but 2 months. I thought that kiss meant something. I haven't tried to reach out because according to Jack they've been packed with stuff to do, but maybe in the downtime he had he could send me a "Hey." or a "How are you?". At least Olivia and Jack are talking.

This weekend is the 4th of July, and I'm going with Olivia's family to celebrate. They're visiting family down in Texas. My parents are fine because they're going camping with my siblings, which is not my forte. We leave tomorrow morning and we'll be there for 2 weeks.

Next Day; Olivia's POV

My family and I picked up Emerson at 4:30 AM. We drove to the airport and did all the boring things one must do before you can get your Starbucks at the airport. We waited for two hours before it was time to board the plane. Emerson and I were sitting together and we listened to her stupid musicals the whole time. Some of them are okay, like the one about the green witch and the pink witch that makes her popular. I don't even know, but I knocked out after a few minutes.

Once we arrived in Texas, my aunt and uncle picked us up. We got into their big van, and drove to their house. It was the 3rd of July, so when we got back to their house, Emerson and I unpacked our suitcases in our shared guest room, and hung out by the pool.

"Hey Emerson," I said as we were about to go to sleep.

"Yes?" She replied.

"You were too good for that boy anyway." I said nicely.

"Thanks Liv. Love you, goodnight." She said as she turned off her nightstand lamp.

"Love you too." I said quietly as we went to sleep.

The 4th of July; Emerson's POV

"What is this?" Olivia asked as her Aunt Lisa gave her a box.

"It's a little present. It's for Emerson too!" She exclaimed.
We quickly opened the box and shrieked when we saw the contents.

"ONE DIRECTION TICKETS!" We screamed.

"Are you happy?!"

"YES" We yelled, happier than ever.

"Okay, I gave you 2 extra tickets in case." She said.

"Okay!" We replied.

"Tonight our new neighbors are coming over, so be good." She warned.

"I hope they have a cute son." Olivia said.

And we walked to help her aunt.
