Second Offenses Always the Worst

When Zayn entered Josh and Michael's room. They were both on Josh's bed. Josh was laying on his stomach and Michael was sitting up facing him. Josh had tear tracks on his face.

"Michael, go stand in the corner," Zayn instructed.

Michael jumped off the bed and ran to the corner. Josh buried his head in his arms and started sobbing. Zayn sat on the side of the bed and rubbed Josh's back.

He waited for Josh to calm down before he spoke. "Josh I don't understand what has gotten into you? First fighting with Niall and Luke. Then the dangerous behavior at the mall after knowing you were going to get a spanking tonight and tomorrow morning. What's going on with you?" Zayn asked with true concern in his voice.

He really didn't know what had come over Josh, his son turned to his side and looked at his father. "I just wanted to be more like my brother's," he cried pitifully.

"What do you mean more like your brother's?" Zayn asked, confused by what he meant by that.

"Last night Michael and I were talking and he brought up that I was the least spanked person in the house. He asked when the last time I got punished and I said it was when I got caught stealing with Jake from school." Josh paused and Zayn nodded he was following along.

"That was over a year ago. I know he was joking and didn't mean to sound bad but he said he bet you and Daddy wished you could have 8 copies of me instead of all the trouble the rest of them cause. It made me feel like I was the odd one out. Maybe they thought I thought I was better than them. But I don't" he insisted.

"Of course you don't baby" Zayn assured him of his brother's love for him not jealousy.

"I didn't mean to make you feel bad" Michael bawled from his corner feeling very guilty.

"It's okay Michael. I guess that's why I suggested jumping on the boys this morning to wake them. I knew how they would react and I wanted to cause mischief. But the mall I didn't do that on purpose I mean I knew what we were doing wasn't right I just didn't want to be the responsible one to say anything and when Louis didn't object I went along with it" he openly admitted.

"First of all Josh, behaving the way you know is expected of you is your responsibility. Second, you should never feel ashamed that you haven't been punished in a while. It should be something to be proud of. Third, your father and I would never tolerate any sibling of yours to ridicule you for behaving. And lastly I really hope the spanking you got a couple hours ago along with the one you're about to get now and tomorrow morning will be enough to deter you from bad behavior for a while. I am not going to go easy on you because you got a belting a couple hours ago" Zayn sternly scolded Josh.

"Yes sir" he cried. Zayn stood up. "Pants and boxers off" Josh undid his pants and slid them off along with his boxers he laid them on the floor next to his bed. He laid back on his stomach and waited for his fate.

Zayn pulled his belt off for the second time that day. He swung it down on Josh's bottom that was just left looking pink from the spanking he received earlier. However, Josh felt it much more; his bottom was still very sore and he wailed so loud with the first whack that Michael jumped and started sobbing at the same time Josh did.

"Papa papa no no no no please" he screamed out. Zayn wanted to cry himself. He steeled his heart to keep going.

"I can't take any more!!!!" He sobbed.

Zayn steeled himself to finish the spanking, picking Josh up who was gasping to breath as his bottom hurt so bad his bottom was no longer pink it was crimson. It took several minutes of Zayn pacing the floor rocking him to get him to breathe normally and the screams to die down to normal crying.

Zayn was crying himself when Josh noticed. "Why are you crying Papa? I was the one that was bad?" He innocently added.

"You're not bad Josh you did something wrong and was punished for it but your not bad got that?" Zayn told him firmly.

"Yes Papa" Josh whispered

"Good. It breaks my heart to hurt you so much with a spanking especially since you just got one." Josh understood his father really did mean it when sometimes he would say this hurts me as much as it's hurting you.

He promised himself to go back to following the rules. Zayn put Josh down after holding him for about 20 minutes.

"I need you to switch places with Michael"

"Okay Papa" he went to the corner. As Michael turned to trade places he pulled Josh into a hug.

"I look up to you, you're a good example to follow" Zayn was very proud of Michael telling him that.

Michael stood in front of Zayn. He was scared because he had just been spanked yesterday morning for fighting and here he was again.

"Michael to say I'm disappointed that we are here again so soon with you messing with your brothers. I really thought the spanking I gave you yesterday would have deterred you from repeating yourself. The only thing I can conclude is I wasn't hard enough on you" Michael paled at his words

"Papa you were hard enough I didn't go in there with the intention of messing with them when we saw them cuddling up in Luke's bed Josh suggested we jump on them I really just wasn't thinking how they would react."

"What about hitting them? Did you not hear me when I said keep your hands to yourself?" Zayn scolded

"Yes Papa I heard you I just got mad when they started hitting and kicking at us." Michael tried defending his actions.

"Michael, you and I have discussed your need for self control. It is not getting any better. I am going to teach you to think before you react. Pants and boxers off, then lay on your bed." Zayn ordered. Michael knew arguing was futile at this time. He did as he was told. Whimpering when he heard the clanking of the belt.

"Papa please I'm sorry" he sobbed pitifully as Zayn showed no mercy to his bottom.

"No more papa I can't take anymore" he screamed. But Zayn was not done

He threw the belt down and scooped Michael up the same as Josh. He finally calmed down.

"Josh come here" Zayn instructed. Josh sat down on Zayn's right knee as he had Michael sitting on the other. He comforted both boys before kissing them. I want you two to rest until dinnertime."

Both boys agreed and they climbed into Michael's bed and cuddled each other.
