The year is 2022 at Dan and Phil's wedding.

-DANS POV-

Here we are. I can't believe this. I'm marrying my best friend, a guy that I stalked on the Internet. I looked up from the paper with my wedding vows messily scribbled on it. My hands shook, and I guess Phil noticed, as he reached out to steady my hands with his. I looked up at his shining blue eyes, my own brown ones bubbling over with tears. Phil gave me a reassuring nod, as if to say, "you can do this." I took a deep breath. Here goes, well, everything.

"Uh, well Phil, here we are. Chris said we'd be married by 2022. I guess you could say we're right on schedule. Now, you told me these vows have to be at least half serious, so I'll try. I don't remember any details of my life B.P., Before Phil, and if we're being honest, I don't want to. You gave my life so much meaning, and you've been encouraging and inspiring me to become a better version of myself since day 1. I remember that one day I literally typed in "cool emo guys" into YouTube, and you were the second option on the page. But I chose you first. Just like I always have and just like I promise to do forever. You were there by my side whenever I needed you, and whenever I didn't. You were there when I came out to my parents-you sat with me that entire night on Skype as I cried myself to sleep, and during that you told me everything will get better and be okay one day but I didn't believe you. But I do now. Because now I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend, my soulmate. I believe in late night snacks and three hour breakfasts, morning anime's and identical haircuts. And above all, I believe in us, because I know we will last forever. You are like a beautiful flower, Phil, with your stupid animal ice breakers, your cute laugh, your constant need to eat my cereal. I love you, more than life, my little lion. I'm very excited to spend my forever with you."
