And something about the way Heeseung looked at him made him nod. "Good," Heeseung ruffled the younger's hair when he sat on the couch and placed a soft kiss on his forehead, taking Sunghoon by surprise. The older then placed the tea next to him, urging him to drink it and then left to do something in his room.

Sunghoon didn't realise he was crying until a choked sob left his lips when he tried to speak, Heeseung who had just entered the living room, ran straight up to Sunghoon, who was now a whimpering mess. "Baby? What's wrong?" Heeseung cupped his face and slowly raised it but Sunghoon only seemed to cry harder at that, his glossy eyes staring right up at him and a loud sob leaving his mouth, shattering Heeseung's heart all over again.

Sunghoon gulped quickly before composing himself and then found the confidence to speak, "Y-you wanted nothing to do with me before we met, Hyung. And now, you're suddenly asking me to stay over even after the case is over and kissing me. I thought you said it was for a conducive environment and work purposes only, what am I supposed to believe?"

"Oh baby," Heeseung smiled softly as he knelt down to Sunghoon's level and brought his face closer to his, their foreheads touching ever so softly "That was just my ego speaking. And I know it's not an excuse for my actions but, I like you, Hoon. Maybe it's only been a week or two but I truly want to get to know you more. I never meant anything I said earlier, I was just pissed that Yeonjun Hyung and Soobin Hyung thought I needed a partner but I see why now. Everything had stressed me out so much that I started losing hope and ended up messing up quite a lot. And you, you Sunghoon brought that tiny bit of hope left back to life. You were exactly what I needed and what I still need."

Heeseung chuckled when he watched Sunghoon cry through his own wet eyes and wiped the younger's tears away, noticing the light dust of pink covering his cheeks, "So what do say, baby? Want to give Hyung a chance?" Said baby nodded his head impatiently, throwing his arms around the older without any care in the world and connecting their lips into a kiss he knew they'd remember forever.

"I really like you too, Hyung."
