Chapter 2: The Call

   Everyone disperse, heading towards their assigned rooms. Soobin notices Beomgyu struggling to carry his suitcase up the stairs. "Let me help you with that," Soobin said. "Oh you don't have to, you have your things to unpack too," Beomgyu declines. "My bag is on the 1st floor, you have to carry yours to the 2nd floor, it's really not a problem," Soobin insists. Beomgyu thanks him for his help and can't help but blush.

   After washing up, everyone heads to the 2nd floor to prepare dinner. "What should we cook for dinner," Sungchan asked as they rummaged through the fridge and pantry. "We could cook ramyeon, you can never go wrong with that," Harua exclaimed. "There's also kimchi and samgyeopsal in the fridge," Jo said. "You guys can relax, I'll cook," Soobin said. "I-I'll help you so we can cook faster," Beomgyu said suddenly flustered. "I'll set the table," Yuma said. "Me too," Jo said, his ears turning red.

   Everyone starts on their task. Soobin prepares the ramyeon while Beomgyu grills the meat. Soobin and Beomgyu exchange glances quite a few times. Beomgyu studies Soobin's side profile, accidently burning himself in the process. A small yelp is heard from Beomgyu and Soobin quickly rushes to his aid. "Are you okay? What happened?" Soobin rushes out. "I'm okay I just burnt myself," Beomgyu tries to ease Soobin. Soobin guides Beomgyu to the sink and puts his hand under cool water. "You should be more careful," Soobin said, looking at Beomgyu. They silently stare at each other for a few seconds. "O-Ok," Beomgyu said in a tiny voice.

    After they finish cooking, they set the table. "Thank you for this meal," everyone said. As they enjoy their meal, they decide to talk about their first impressions of each other. "Soobin looks like BTOB's Minhyuk," Euijoo said. "Right, I thought so!" Beomgyu exclaimed. "Sungchan looks like Song Kang but more handsome," Harua proclaimed. "No, Song Kang is definitely more," Sungchan said humbly. "I think Euijoo really looks like Ponyo," Nicholas said, after observing Euijoo. "He really does," Soobin said, shocked he didn't notice before. "I know we can't reveal our age, but Harua definitely looks the youngest," Yuma said. "Jo has a baby face too," Hurua said in a pout.

   As they finish eating, Nicholas volunteers to wash the dishes. Sungchan quickly volunteers alongside him. As everyone scatters, Euijoo clears the table and brings the dishes to the sink for Nicholas. Nicholas acknowledges this and thanks Euijoo to which Euijoo expresses he is happy to help with a red hue decorating his cheeks. Nicholas and Sungchan converse while washing dishes and Harua watches from the couch. He has been trying to subtly express his interest in Sungchan. 'I'll have to try again, later' he thought.

   After the sun goes down, everyone gathers in the living room, seemingly talking about anything. "Let's play a game," Beomgyu suggests. "What kind of game?" Nicholas asked. "We should play a Q&A game, where you ask a question and point to the person you think best suits the question," Beomgyu explains. Everyone agrees and the Q&A starts. "I'll go first. Who are you more curious about on a one-on-one date?" Hurua asked. They take some time to think and count down from three. Yuma, Soobin, Nicholas, Euijoo, Beomgyu, and Sungchan voted for Jo while Harua voted for Sungchan and Jo voted for Yuma. "Why did you choose me?" Jo asked. "I feel like Jo has a hidden charm because he's so shy," Euijoo expressed. Everyone seems to agree with the statement. "Ok next question, who would you want to be your roommate if you could change rooms?" Beomgyu asked. They countdown and the votes are casted. Beomgyu and Soobin voted for each other, Jo and Yuma voted for each other, Harua voted Sungchan while Sungchan voted for Nicholas while Nicholas and Euijoo voted for each other. A silence comes over the living room. It's not awkward but it's not comfortable either. Just then several chimes are heard in the living room. They've received a text;

TEXT: The call starts now. Please go to the phone booth. Express your feelings to someone you like in 30 seconds.

   "We should all go to our rooms and wait for the next text," Soobin proposes. Everyone agrees and makes their way to their room. Beomgyu sits in his room, wondering who he should call. Suddenly a chime resonates through his room.
