Chapter 3: New Guy

   The sun rises over the Men's house and Beomgyu starts to stir. Beomgyu decides to get up and start his day. After his shower, he heads back to his room and shuts the door. He starts to blow dry his hair when there's a knock at his door. He stops the blow dryer and tells the person to come in. Harua peeks his head through the door, "Can I do my makeup in here?" Harua asked. "Sure, come in," Beomgyu said.

   "Is anyone else up?" Beomgyu asked. "Not that I know of, the house is really quiet. I think everyone is still asleep," Harua answered. "Really... wow it makes you wonder what everyone's occupation is," Beomgyu said, amazed everyone was still asleep at 8:00am. "Right," Harua responds feeling the same. Harua and Beomgyu continue talking.

   Meanwhile, Soobin heads up to the kitchen after getting ready quietly, sure to not wake Jo. In the living room on the coffee table, Soobin sees 6 cards face down and a mission card.

Mission: If you get the arrow card, you can invite the one who gets the heart card to a date. The matching session will end in one hour, starting from now. Please make up your mind.

   Seeing as there's only 6 cards and 8 people, this is a first come first serve situation. Soobin wants to use the opportunity to ask Beomgyu out so he quickly snags a card off the table. He doesn't look at it, wanting to wait until everyone comes down and picks a card. Soobin pockets the card and heads to the kitchen to have cereal.

   After getting ready, Beomgyu and Harua decide to wake everyone for the day. Beomgyu goes to Harua and Yuma's shared room and wakes Yuma. Harua decides to head to the 3rd floor. On the 3rd floor Sungchan is already up, exercising. Harua stops and stares, mesmerized by Sungchan's muscles. Realizing he's staring he looks away and heads to Nicholas' solo room.

   After waking Nicholas, Harua heads to Sungchan and Euijoo's shared room and tries to wake Euijoo but he won't budge. Harua being his mischievous self, threatens to pour water on Euijoo. This got him to finally get up and Harua leaves so he can get ready. Before heading back downstairs, Harua goes and taps Sungchan on the shoulder. Sungchan turns around and takes out his earbuds.

   "After your workout make sure to come downstairs and eat plenty," Harua said. "I'll be down shortly, I'm just about finished," Sungchan responds with a smile. Harua's heart skips a beat and he nods and heads down before Sungchan can see his blushing face.

   Beomgyu heads down the hall to the kitchen and sees Soobin at the kitchen table eating cereal. "Good morning. Did you sleep well?" Beomgyu asked softly. "Yes, I slept really well, how about you?" Soobin asked with a caring smile. "I did as well," Beomgyu said, a red hue decorating his cheeks. Soobin smiled before saying, "There's a mission card on the table in the living room. It's first come first serve so you should hurry," Soobin said.

   Beomgyu looks over and sees the cards on the table and walks over and grabs one. He doesn't look at the card wanting to share when everyone gets down here. Harua is coming down the stairs and Beomgyu sees him. "Harua, hurry and pick a card," Beomgyu urges. "What is it?" Harua asked. He walks over and reads the mission card and picks a card.

   Upstairs on the 3rd floor, Euijoo finishes getting ready and heads to Nicholas' door. He breathes deeply before knocking. A 'come in' is heard inside and Euijoo heads inside. Nicholas glances at the door and finds Euijoo at his door. "Do you want to head down together," Euijoo musters up, seeing Nicholas dressed for the day. Nicholas smiles and replies with a 'sure' and they head down. They find Beomgyu, Soobin, and Harua having breakfast and head over. Soobin sees the two and asks,"Oh, did you guys not see the mission card?"

   "Oh, I didn't even see it," Nicholas laughs. The two go over and grab a card Euijoo letting Nicholas choose first. They then head towards the kitchen again to pour their cereal and join the others. Sungchan comes down and sees the mission card and immediately grads the last one. Beomgyu sees this and asks, "Does this mean Jo and Yuma have to stay home?"

   "Well there aren't any more cards," Harua said. It's 8:50 am when Yuma and Jo finally come to the kitchen after sleeping in. "There was a mission but it was only 6 cards," Beomgyu said, feeling guilty. "Really?" Yuma asked, shocked. "I'm sure we can find something to do here while you guys are gone," Jo said with ambition. Yuma blushes at Jo's indirect invitation to a date at home.

   "Let's reveal our cards now," Harua said, excited. They all reveal their cards. Harua, Euijoo, and Soobin have the arrow cards while Nicholas, Beomgyu, and Sungchan have the heart cards. The atmosphere became quiet after disclosing the card. "Well, should the people with arrow cards choose the person they want to go on a date with?" Soobin asked, breaking the silence. They all agree.

   Harua, full of confidence, looks to Sungchan, who is diagonal from where he's sitting, and hands him his card. Sungchan took it, not thank he can deny it. Soobin passes his card to Beomgyu with a 'let's go on a date'. To which Beomgyu accepts with a smile, eager to go on a date with Soobin. Euijoo hands his card to Nicholas with a shy smile and Nicholas smiles, happy Euijoo chose him for a date.

   After deciding the dates, everyone disperse to their respective rooms to get ready for their dates. Everyone eventually comes to the living room to lounge and talk before the dates. They were starting to become a little family as they grew closer to one another. Meanwhile, outside a man walks to the door with a suitcase in hand.

   A doorbell is heard and everyone inside freezes. "I'll get it," Euijoo said. Euijoo heads to the front door and opens it. He sees a man standing there and greets him. "Come in," Euijoo insists, while holding the door open for the man. The others are confused when they see a man entering the living room. They greet him politely, of course, and offer him a seat in the middle of the couch.

   "Hello, I'm Park Wonbin and I'll be moving in today," Wonbin said, softly. Everyone introduces themselves and welcomes him warmly. "I got an envelope for today's mission," Wonbin said, pulling out an envelope. Everyone is shocked and nervous about what it will say. "Shall I open it?" Wonbin asked cautiously. Various 'yes's' and 'go ahead's' are heard around the room and Wonbin opens and reads the card on the inside.

Mission: To Wonbin, who is going to move in today, you have the right to choose your date. Your choice comes first. Now choose a man you want to go on a date with. If you lose your date, you will have to stay in the Men's House.

   Everyone gasps and looks around the room, one of their dates could be stolen and they would have to stay home. "So who will you choose?" Beomgyu asked, hoping it wouldn't be Soobin. Wonbin scans the living room, everyone is obviously attractive but someone catches his eye. "I'll choose ... Sungchan," Wonbin said. Everyone breathes a sigh of relief, everyone except Harua of course.

   Harua isn't having the best of luck. He thought today would be better when he chose the arrow card, but it all meant nothing because he just got his date stolen by the new guy. Harua smiles sadly but tries to bring up the mood, "You guys can go on your dates, Yuma, Jo, and I will have our own fun," Harua said, thoughtfully. Harua was obviously sad but didn't want others to be sad either.

A/N: I had a lot of birthday parties to attend (and they were back to back) so I had to find small pockets of time to write this. It may not be that good but I tried. New guy Wonbin is here, how do you guys feel?
