Chapter 1: The first blind date

A tall man walks into the cafe. Walking with careful steps, he walks down the stairs to the lower floor of the cafe. He pulls out a chair and takes a seat. He fidgets with his fingers, nervous and anxious. Just then footsteps are heard and a person is coming down the stairs. The tall man stands and greets another tall male. "Hello, please take a seat," he says nervously. "Hi, I hope I didn't keep you waiting long," the other said. "No, I wasn't here long before you came." The tall man decides to introduce himself to ease the awkward atmosphere. "My name is Choi Soobin, nice to meet you." The other tall man responds, "Nice to meet you, I'm Byun Euijoo." The air stills around them, the two still very awkward. "Shall we order?" Soobin asked.

  At another cafe a male is sitting at a table looking around the room. Footsteps resonate through the room and another male appears. They greet each other and sit down. The two smile awkwardly and introduce themselves. "I'm Wang Yixiang but you can call me Nicholas," he said with a smile. "Nice to meet you, I'm Nakakita Yuma." As they finish their introductions another male walks into the room. Yuma and Nicholas look confused but still greet the other. "Hello, I'm Choi Beomgyu, nice to meet you both."
"Hello, I'm Nakakita Yuma," Yuma says. "Hello, I'm Wang Yixiang but I prefer Nicholas," Beomgyu smiles warmly at the two which they reciprocate. "Have you guys watched the show before?" Beomgyu asked. "No, I've only seen bits and pieces," Nicholas said, with Yuma agreeing. Beomgyu nodded understandingly.

  Meanwhile at the first cafe as Soobin and Euijoo try to adjust to the atmosphere, another person walks in. Another tall male walks in and Soobin and Euijoo are confused but quickly mask it by welcoming him. "What's your name?" Soobin asked. "Oh sorry, my name is Jung Sungchan, nice to meet you," Sungchan introduces himself. "It's okay, don't apologize we're flustered as well," Euijoo comforts. At the second cafe Beomgyu continues to ease the atmosphere, "I've watched the show so I believe I'm the last to show," he explains to the two. Just as Beomgyu finishes, another male walks in. The three seem to internally laugh at the timing of the statement made. The tall male, taller than all of them walks up to the table and everyone stands to greet him. "Please take a seat," Beomgyu says. The tall man sits and introduces himself, "Hello my name is Asakura Jo," Jo says in a low voice. They manage to hear him and come to the conclusion that he must be shy.

  At the first cafe, another male joins the group and they welcome him warmly. He's relatively shorter than the rest and looks young. "Hello, I'm Shigeta Harua, nice to meet you all," he greets cheerfully. Everyone introduces themselves and has adjusted quickly. "I believe we're all here, should we order now?" Soobin asked. "Yes, that sounds good," Sungchan said. After receiving their drinks they start to talk about mbti. "What's everyone's mbti, I'm curious?" Harua asked. Euijoo responds,"My mbti is INFJ."
"It suits you," Harua said and followed with, "Mine is ESFJ."
"My mbti is ESTP," Sungchan says, "What about you Soobin?" Euijoo asked. "My mbti is ISFP but I don't think mbti matters in a partner," Soobin says. "What's everyone's ideal type?" Sungchan asked. Harua answers quickly, "My ideal type is someone who resembles a puppy."
"I don't really have an ideal type but someone who is kind," Soobin said. Euijoo hums in agreement with Soobin. "I like someone that looks like a cat or bunny," Sungchan said. Harua keeps this in the back of his mind. "Well since everyone is done here should we head to the Men's house?" Soobin asked, taking on the leader role. Everyone agrees and heads out of the cafe.

  Walking up to the house is group 2, having got more comfortable during the car ride to the Men's house. They seem to be laughing at a joke Beomgyu made, even shy Jo is giggling. As they approach the door, Jo rushes forward, opens and holds the door for everyone. Everyone thanks Jo,commenting on how he's sweet. Yuma thinks he is super sweet but would never admit it out loud. They take their shoes off and put on the house slippers provided for them. They head up the stairs to the living room and sit on the couch and conversate among themselves. Meanwhile, group 1 has just arrived and are making their way to the door. Sungchan, being ahead of the group, opens and holds the door for everyone. Everyone expresses their gratitude and enters the house. The group inside are alerted by the door and prepare to greet the others. Group 1 changes out their shoes for the house slippers and greet the group in the living room.

  They greet themselves in order of how they are sitting. "Hello, I'm Byun Euijoo," Euijoo introduces himself. "I'm Shigeta Harua, nice to meet you," he says brightly. "Hey, I'm Choi Soobin," Soobin said. "I'm Jung Sungchan," Sungchan said simply. "Hello, I'm Wang Yixiang but I prefer being called Nicholas," Nicholas said. "Nice to meet you all, I'm Asakura Jo," Jo said less timidly this time. "Hello everyone my name is Choi Beomgyu, nice to meet you," Beomgyu said gleefully. "Hello I'm Nakakita Yuma, nice to meet you all," Yuma said. They all clap and then they see a small blackboard with rules.

1.When you move in, you have to find someone you really love by expressing your feelings honestly.
2.You can only use the phone we gave you. [You can't share SNS, and contact information]
3.You can't share any information except names during the required time.
4.You can't change roommates at will.
5.You can only express your feelings through a 30 second call.

   After reading the rules, Soobin reads the card on the table. They all must choose a card to decide on their rooms and roommates. "I think you should pick first since you arrived later," Nicholas expressed. Euijoo picks first and they go around in their seating order, Yuma being the last to pick. Euijoo reveals his card first, "3rd floor double room." Harua is next, "2nd floor double room." Sungchan then reveals his card, "3rd floor double room."
"That means Euijoo and Sungchan are roommates," Soobin said. Harua is a little upset but doesn't show it. Next is Soobin, "I got the 1st floor double room." Nicholas goes next, "3rd floor single room, what does that mean?" Nicholas questions. "It means you get a room to yourself," Beomgyu replies. "I am on the 1st floor in the double room with Soobin," Jo reveals. "I got the 2nd floor single room," Beomgyu exclaims. Yuma is the last to reveal, "I got the 2nd floor double room."
"That means you're rooming with me," Harua said. "Now that rooms have been decided, let's unpack and wash up for dinner," Soobin announces.
