3- Drive to the Hospital, Slade's Thoughts

Slade Pov-

I couldn't help But glance in my rear view mirror at the Guy I was bringing to the hospital, He looked horrible and like he had been through a living nightmare. His hair was a Brown Color where it wasn't Splotched in Blood, his Green Jacket was torn to shreds and His pants were pretty much Rags now. His Shirt that was underneath his Jacket was the Only thing that might be able to be fixed and saved. I was mostly just hoping that The Man wouldn't Die from blood loss since I could almost feel like he didn't want me touching him.

Whatever had happened to him must have been Bad, That much I could tell by his injuries. I couldn't help But feel A odd sense of Protectiveness over the Man, I didn't know why. Maybe was because of the Obvious Fact that everyone Ignored him when he obviously needed help. Either way, I was going to help him, Just like Sabre would have-

I needed to stop thinking about Sabre. He was gone, I knew that. Watts Doesn't fully except that yet though and it just hurts when I see him Trying to find A way to find Him. He went missing Two Years ago, His case was closed A few months after he went missing since there was no evidence. Some people Thought he ran away, Some Thought he was killed and Some thought that he was kidnapped. I didn't know what to believe.

He Would have told us If he was leaving Right? He wouldn't just abandon us... Me and Watts... Right? He wasn't like that... He always thought of me and Watts as Family, even though he never said it I could tell. I thought the Same as him. He had helped me with College, Let me live with him until I got my own Place and even told me the Truth when it came to his feelings and if a girl wasn't interested in me.

I shook My head as I pulled into the hospital's Parking lot and Looked back at Him, He was Sound asleep. I'd Have to carry him but I didn't mind. He needed the Help, If he couldn't Pay for it I would. After all I did get a decent amount with my job as A Cashier, A former Police Officer that still helped with some cases and Helping Watts. Mostly from Watts in reality.

I got out Of the Car And opened the back door and went to pick him up, He didn't even Stir as I managed to pick him up. He was a lot Lighter then I expected and it made me frown. As A former Police officer I could tell there was more to it then what I could see.
