An Intruder

"Aww come-on no body in this house can hurt you. Okay! I am your sister and you are my baby sister. Nobody touches what's mine." Ana spoke radiating the aura of a queen just like her name.
'La Reina'. Sofia admitted to herself that whoever named her sister was a very sharp minded person indeed.

*Knock* *knock* *knock*
Ana stood up from the bed, she slept in Sofia's bed last night. She looked at her sister who was fast asleep. The knock on the door wasn't a regular one it was a desperate knock. So it was neither a servant nor a family member. She looked at the wall clock. It's was
7:30 am. She got alarmed and pulled out a very small dagger that was inserted in her shoe. She hid it in her pajamas and opened the door like the most clueless person ever.
"Who's this in the early morning?" Ana spoke in a sleepy voice with half open eyes.
She opened the door to find an unfamiliar girl standing outside.
"Who are you?" The girl asked directly, in response to which Ana swung the girl's body and held her in a head lock. She closed the door with her foot.
"Who are you?" Ana asked in a threatening voice.
The girl was moving her arms desperately to get out of Ana's grip but all in vain.
"Lily?!" Sofia's voice got both of Ana's and Sofia's attention.
"You know her?" Ana asked Sofia still holding Lily in a head lock.
"Yeah I do she is my friend." Sofia explained and rushed towards both of them.
Ana left Lily who sat down immediately clutching her chest while hyperventilating.
"I didn't know you were Sofia's friend. Anyway what are you doing here at this hour?" Ana asked directly to the poor girl who was coughing a little.
Sofia rushed to Lily with a glass of water which she drank pretty fast.
"Are you okay?" Ana asked leaning towards her.
"Y...yeAA..yeah. I am good." Sofia was constantly rubbing Lily's back.
Lily finally calmed down a little and saw a hand in front of her face. It was Ana, Lily held her hand and stood up.
"About earlier-" Ana was cut off by Lily.
"I understand it's fine." She spoke smiling wide.
"I wasn't explaining myself sweetheart. What I wanted to say was don't show up at places unannounced it could have been worse if I had seen you outside this room." Ana spoke and walked past Lily to sit on Sofia's bed. Lily was shocked to her core. This woman carried the aura of dominance. She was flabbergasted by Ana.
"Lily this is my elder sister Ana La Reina. And Ana this is my friend Lily. She is our neighbor and we go to each other's houses from our roofs. It's our little secret." Sofia gave brief introductions.
"Woah that's nice. I wonder whose idea was that?" Ana asked with her hand under her chin.
"Nice to meet you........" Lily spoke but left her sentence incomplete as she was unable to find the right name to address Ana with.
"Lily you can call her Ana" Sofia spoke with sparkling eyes.
Lily was unable to understand what changed so much in Sofia overnight. For the very first time Sofia was glowing.
"Calm down my sweet pea." Ana held Sofia's hand and pulled her towards herself gently. Ana had a very wholesome smile on her face as well. 
*Lily's pov*
I am seeing a new Sofia I can't believe she is the same Sofia who was heartbroken a day before. I am happy she has someone.
"You guys wanna have breakfast?" Ana Sofia's elder sister asked with a smile.
"Yeah let's eat." I spoke trying not to be awkward.
"Kay~ let me just inform the servants real quick you guys carry on." She stood up fixed her robe a little and walked out with graceful steps.
"Sofia?" I spoke as soon as the door closed.
"I didn't see her here before. You also didn't mention anything about her anytime before." I couldn't keep my curiosity.
"She wasn't here at that time. She is my sister I haven't met in years." Sofia's eyes were dazed. For the very first time the look on Sofia's face didn't break my heart.
I smiled unintentionally and looked at her sister who seemed as if she was still skeptical about me. Well I kind of broke into their house. Hehehe.
*End of Lily's pov*
"Anyways why are you here at this hour? For fun or is it something you couldn't delay? Ana asked lily who was looking at Sofia with heart eyes.
"Um... Well both. You see me and Sofia are lately spending a lot of time together. Also I wanted to see if she was prepared for the party or not. Because if she isn't. .... Then we can prepare for it together." Sofia became silent. She wasn't sure if she wanted to go or not.
"What??? A party???" Ana was overjoyed.
"Yeah" Lily smiled wide.
"What kind of party?" Ana asked leaning towards Lily.
"Annual party. That happens before finals, since I got the same class as Sofia I wanted to go to this party with her." Lily shared her thoughts.
"Sofia? You are going to this party." Ana replied happily.
"I was thinking of not going because you are here I want to spend time with you." Sofia made an excuse that she didn't want to go also Layla would be there and Sofia isn't sure if she would be okay around her yet.
"Sweet pea I wasn't asking." Ana replied precisely.
"But-" Sofia tried to protest.
"No but I can go to this party with you guys so you can spend time with me as well. Also I miss school life." Ana solved the problem.
"As this is solved can we get our dresses?" Lily chirped with enthusiasm.
"Yeah get ready girls we will hit the road in an hour." Ana spoke and walked out.
"Gosh SoFiiiii your sister is Soo cool." Lily squealed.
Sofia smiled wide and went to freshen up.
"Where are you going Lily?" Sofia asked Lily who just opened the door to walk out. 
"Going back to my rabbit hole to get changed." Lily replied.
"You can get changed here only." Sofia replied and entered the bathroom.
Lily was extremely delighted to know that Sofia let her stay. Does this mean she trusts her enough now?
"Sureee~" Lily plopped down on the bed and started to scroll through her socials.
She had already screenshot loads of dresses she wanted to buy, and some of them were kept for Sofia.
"This one looks gorgeous." Lily mumbled. The dress was in an emerald green color. It was a simple dress with no extra designing or embroidery. It had long sleeves which had emerald colored jewels attached to just the end of it. It had a corset shaped body which would reach till her ankles. Lily kept staring at it for such a long time. The door knob twisted and there stood Ana all set to go. Lily got up from half laying position and sat straight.
"Where is Sofia?" Ana asked moving aside her hair strand.
"She is taking a bath." Lily replied.
"Why aren't you ready Lil?" Ana had the habit of giving all the people she considered close to her a nickname.
"Um...I am waiting for Sofia." Lily replied with red cheeks.
"Hmm.." Ana nodded and looked at the screen of Lily's mobile.
"You can go Lily." Sofia replied walking towards the dresser wiping her wet hair.
"Give it to me." Ana spoke and started to dry Sofia's hair. Sofia smiled at her sister.
"How's this dress?" Ana asked Sofia pointing at Lily's mobile.
"It's nice." Sofia replied.
"I think your friend likes it. Wanna gift it to her?" Ana asked with a smile.
"Yeah. She had done so much for me." Sofia replied thinking about something.
"Sweet pea we don't give presents because we are thankful to the people we love. We give them souvenirs because we love them." Ana replied looking at her. Because Ana was tilting her face her hair strands fell on one side of her face making her look dreamy.
"I am sorry." Sofia spoke with guilty eyes.
"Anhan. It's not about sorry it's about your feelings. Gift her if you love her presence." Ana explained and started to comb her hair.
"Your hair is so pretty dear sister." Ana replied and there it was Sofia's genuine smile. Which was pasted on her face ever since her sister started to talk with her.
"Let's go we can't be late." Lily rushed out.
"Wait my wallet and everything else is in my room should I just go and pick it up? It won't take long." Lily was speaking in a hurry.
"No!" Ana replied in one word and started to walk as an indication that they were leaving the exact moment.
"Look alive people let's go!" Ana yelled out and waited for them in the hallway.
"Ana? Sofia? Where are you guys going this early morning and who's this?" Mr Fernando Reyes asked.
He appeared as if he had just woken up. Still in his night suit holding a rolled up newspaper in his hand.
"Oh Hola dad we are having a girl's day out also this is Sofia's best friend Lily. Take care we won't be back soon." Ana replied and started to walk away.
"Bye dad!" She turned around for a moment and continued walking.
Lily and Sofia also left after bidding their good byes.
