"It's been three months since Fe's exit from the hospital. It was an emotional experience. She didn't deserve that. Finding her bloody and unable to move, so devastating. I'm so glad she's okay."
Jax: "Babe, are you okay?"
Mae: "Oh, I'm sorry, I was just thinking. Did you say anything?"
*Jax pauses in his tracks* He was about to get highly upset but then, he remembered Mae has gone through something traumatic. Seeing Fe in that state, had to be horrifying. He couldn't get mad at her for dissociating.
Jax: "Ma. *Jaxon signs* I know what happened to Fe messed you and Ja up. With Jasmine calling here trying go out all the time, Fe wanting her alone time, and you; you're always dozing off. *Jax rubs his temples* It's like you're here but only physically. It's been three months, not to mention, Tyler is good and dead. I say this from the heart and as gentle as I can, but y'all need to get y'all shit together and move on."
*Mae pauses*
Mae's thoughts:
"If I wasn't so afraid of this nigga, I'd smack the hell out of him. The fucc does he mean move on? He think because he kills people and have this tendency to be emotionally unavailable, that I should walk around as a fucking zombie? Are you-"
"MAE!"
"Oh hell naw, who the hell are you yelling at?"
*Mae looked at Jaxon with a cold and dirty look. Jax has never yelled at Mae before. But now? What has gotten into him?
"I'm yelling at you. You need to listen to what the hell I'm telling you."
"Get the fucc out my house."
*Jax laughs*
* Mae sets her hands on the kitchen table, sighing loudly*
"Did you hear -"
"Yeah I heard you, but what does that mean my love?"
*Jax frowns, slowly walking up to Mae*
"You think I gave you six months of my piece of shit ass life for nothing? You think I'ma just sit here, calmly, while you're trying to end it? Naw, ma. I don't roll that way" *Jax chuckles lightly*
*Mae starts to get this weird familiar feeling. She started to see why Jaxon, Chris, and Mike were all friends. Toxicity. They were all diagnosed with it*
"I'm going to Ja's house, I can't take this." *Mae quickly gets up, running to the front door*
"Naw you not." *Jax ran after Mae, shutting the front door just as quickly as Mae opened it*
"Let go of me Jax." *Mae sighs heavily*
*Jax grabbed Mae by her arm, gently pulling her towards the kitchen area so that they could talk*
*Jax slightly laughs again*

*Jax grabbed Mae by her throat; gently. Mae clears her throat. Jaxon looked Mae deep into her soul saying*
"Should I have approached you that way? Naw. Should I have yelled at you? Naw. But, *Jax smiles, licking his lip* if you think you're gonna go to Ja's house and we're not done with our conversation yet, you're crazier than I thought."
"Bu-"
"I'm not done talking. This conversation isn't done and neither are we. Do you truly think ima let yo ass play with me?" *Jaxon's grip grew tighter around Mae's neck*
"Stop, Jax. I can't really breathe." *Mae tries to fight Jax off of her*
"Stop being dramatic ma, if I truly wanted to harm you, I could. But I won't. You know I'm not hurting you. *Jax nodes his head* Maybe you're just having flashbacks from the bitch ass dude that got killed." *Jax expressess, as his hands slowly slid down to Mae's breast*
Mae's thoughts:
"He's right. He's not hurting me, nor would he ever. I don't know what love is. Only pain. I don't know if he's gaslighting me right now or actually looking out for me. I'm scared of letting him in. I rather we just have sex and hang out. I can't do relationships, I'm too traumatized."
"Mae, you're doing it again, what's bothering you?" *Jax expressess, grabbing Mae by her hands, leading her to the couch*
*Mae sighs* "I just feel like a relationship is not for me. You know what I went through with that guy. I can't even say his name without tensing up. Love is something that's ruined for me. I can't just fall in love and get close anymore. I just don't think we should continue." *Mae softly explains*
*Jax laughs out loud*
"What's so funny?" *Mae sat in confusion, wondering what's so funny about her explaining her feelings*
"You. I told you ain't nobody leaving. And if you think you are I'll make sure nobody else has access to you." *Jax's right eye twitches*
"Um, yeah cause naw." *Mae expressess getting back up looking for her keys*
"You can leave and clear your head ma. But, just know you'll never get away from me. And, no I'm not talking about hitting or harming you. But, I'll always come after you. And those weak ass dudes you think you gone date, it'll be a bad day for them mates. *Jax pulled out Mae's car keys from his right side pocket* You take these and drive around so that you can process my words. Don't say anything just go and clear your mind and be back here at 12am. I will find you if you're not back." *Jax walks up to Mae, kissing her on the forehead.*
