CERISE HUGHES would never describe herself as a saint. She has too many criminal offenses, and a dark mark on her soul.
She thought that becoming a hero would help her atone for her streak of violence and shaded behavior. Cerise had been nine when she went under the care of Oliver Queen. He saw those chaotic parts of the girl and instead of extinguishing them, he added fuel to the fire. He taught her to embrace every aspect of herself, to never shy away from the parts she could not explain. Every dark thought and action of her past was a part of her.
Oliver nurtured her desire to be better. He helped where he could, and under the advisement of a friend, he took Cerise to the streets where she could release that darkness before it ate her from the inside.
Cerise Hughes was an accident waiting to happen. One slip up could change the course of her life. Will she be the hero or the villain?
