Ten: We Are Just A Person

   Vera had sex with Edwin. Twice  And the was no going back from it. She laid on his bed, on her side, elbow supporting her head, watching him sleep. His cute lips set in an adorable pout. She grinned, taking a lip between her teeth. He was cute. Way too cute to be real.

  She sat up slowly avoiding the possibility of waking him. He did complain about being a light sleeper. Carefully she placed her feet on the cold tiled floor and got up from the bed. It was already six in the morning and the morning sun was just rising. His dark curtains making it hard for any light to enter the dark room.  She padded her way to his bathroom, releasing herself of the overnight pee she'd been holding onto with a comfortable sigh.

She looked around his cupboards, hoping she could find a spare brush but ends with nothing. She succumbs to using her fingers and toothpaste.

"God forbids he wakes up and tries to kiss me with my morning breathe". She said out loud as she stared at her reflection in the mirror while finger brushing her teeth. She looked a mess.

"What are you doing?". His deep voice grumbled out.

Vera turned to him, heart racing. Damn he was fine. He was leaning against the door frame, arms crossed. He was wearing a grey sweatpants that hung loosely on his waist.

"Brushing my teeth? Good morning". She said, spitting the remnants into the sink and rinsing accordingly.

"Morning baby. You could have used my brush". He told her, coming to stand beside her and taking his tooth brush from the brush stand.

"Eh no thank you, do what my morning breathe passing into it and I couldn't find where you kept your spares".

"I've got a spare somewhere in my room".

"We'll find it later". She looked at him a grin on her face. "Is it me or do you look exceptionally fine this morning". She stated unashamed.

If Edwin could blush he'd be as red as a tomato.
"Where is the old Vera because this is not the girl I met on that Unical bench". He said.

She rolled her eyes. "I've always been this way,  I don't know what you are talking about".

"You were called Loner for a reason. You been too dey form and somehow I'm glad you did. Now you are all mine".

She scoffed, placing a hand on his chest and trailing the other round his flat stomach. Edwin wasn't a muscular person. He was lean and slender and had legs that ran for miles. If you'd take away his face and legs you'd pretty much have a boy still undergoing puberty.

"You know you should start going to the gym". She mumbled, pinching his arms.

"Yeah? Same way you should take cooking classes already".

"I'm just a girl". She shook her head.

"Well I'm just a boy". He brushed his mouth, itching to finally give her that morning kiss he fantasized about in his dreams.

"No you are not, you are like what, old?". She giggled.

"I'm sorry I'm not your book worthy man".

"Yeah that's true but...". She stood on her toes, leaning in and whispering in his ear "I like this my dream worthy man, he knows how to fuck".

"What?". He was laughing. Who knew Dating Vera was so much nastier than Regular Vera.

"Oh so now you are laughing at me".

"No no". He spat into the bowl, rinsing his mouth and tooth brush. "I..." He placed his hands on her waist, pulling her closer to his skin. "I happen to like the idea of fucking you and I like that you like me...fucking you".

"That was so cringe, don't say that ever again". She said, throwing her head back in laughter. This made Edwin's heart melt. Vera was one of a kind. The was something in him that twitched whenever he saw her smile or heard her laugh. It made him happier in some crazy way.  If Peter saw him now he'd make fun of him nonstop.

"No be you fess start am".

She shook her head, body still shaking with glee. "Mbók no talk am again".

"Isn't that what you girls like to hear especially you and those your dark romance books".

"Eh it's better in the books not in real life". She said, a wide grin on her face. That grin. It drove him crazy.

"Well I'm sorry I'm not able to be romantic enough". He wrapped both arms around her, picking her up swiftly. She wrapped her legs around his torso and arms around his neck, exceptionally glee with the fact that the position she was in was one she only read about in her books. He placed a soft yet passionate kiss on her lips,

"Oh you are romantic, very romantic". She gushed, a big grin on her face. Edwin scoffed as he carried her out of the bathroom and into his room.

"You seem excessively happy this morning". He placed her on the bed and she pouted.

How couldn't she? She was in the arms of the guy she liked. And it all still felt so surreal.

"I am".

"Is that right?". He said, his face close to hers and a gleam in his eyes.

She bit her lower lip. "Yeah".

  They stared into each other's eyes, heart racing, minds in sync as the pull closer.

"Well how about I make you happier eh?"

"Yeah". And she pulled him closer than her, their lips joining in a fervent kiss.

   They'd had sex again and cuddled together after tapping away on their phone and making small talks, being too lazy to get out of bed. Somehow Vera decided she was done pretending like she wasn't starving and blurted out words that had Edwin laughing after he'd tried to lean in for a kiss.

"I know the is no way you are trying to fuck me while I'm hungry".

"I'm sorry". He commented when he got down from his high. "I'll make you something, let's go to the kitchen". He grabbed her hands, pulling her up to her feet. She was still in one of his tees and Edwin thought he'd die from how sexy she looked, her face bare and wig stuffed somewhere he had no idea where. She pulled off the "all back" look perfectly but he wasn't going to say that out loud.

"You are beautiful". He whispered instead, pecking her on the lips as the entered his kitchen.

She giggled. She knew. He had said that countless times since the past hours.
