YR 1 [CHAPTER 23]

                                                                         THE MIRROR ERISED

"Y/N, Y/N WAKE UP!" I opened my eyes and saw my brother who was shaking me and a sleepy ron who was right beside him as he yawn

"huh? why? what happened?" i said confuse i look at ron but he just shrugged

"you two got to see this!" harry said as he pulled me out of bed and dragged me and ron somewhere 

"LOOK Y/N! ITS MOM AND DAD!" I quickly move in front but i only see me, harry, and ron

" I only see us." Ron said as i nod my head

"No look, Y/n here you stand here" and i did

I saw mom and dad but except they are three more boys and my father was laughing together with the three boys while my mother was smiling at them and me 

"I do see father and mother but three more boys.." Harry tilted his head and ron pushed me to stand infront of the mirror. i glared at him while he just smiled 

"That's me! Only I'm head boy. And I'm holding the Quidditch cup. And bloody hell! I'm Quidditch Captain too! I look good. Harry, do you think this mirror shows the future?" Me and harry look at eachother

"How can it? Both my parents are dead." Harry said looking down 

"I dont even know the three boys who were standing with my father." I sighed 

MORNING AT THE GREAT HALL

Me and harry were sitting with eachother but none of us said a word until Ron approached us 

"Want to play chess?" Ron asked while i just looked down

"No" Harry said 

"Wanna go and visit Hagrid?" He asked one more time 

"No, thank you" I answered him

"Alright you lot, I know what you guys are thinking, but don't. There's something not right about that mirror" He reassured the both of us

THE NEXT NIGHT 

Me and harry were infront of the mirror again seeing our parents

"I miss them" I said to harry while he smiled sadly at me 

"Me too" 

"Back again, huh?" Me and harry quickly stood up quickly and turned around to see dumbledore

"I see that you, like so many before you have discovered the delights of the Mirror of Erised. I trust by now you realize what it does. Let me give you a clue. The happiest man on earth would look into the mirror and see only himself, exactly as he is." He look at harry

"So then, it shows us what we want. Whatever we want." Harry asked

"Yes. And no. It shows us nothing more or less than the deepest most desperate desires of our hearts. Now you, Harry, who have never known your family, you see them standing beside you. But remember this, Harry. This mirror gives us neither knowledge or truth. Men have wasted away in front of it. Even gone mad. That is why tomorrow it will be moved to a new home. And I must ask you not to go looking for it again. It does not do to dwell on dreams, Harry, and forget to live."

"As for you, y/n. you have been desperate on finding out the truth about the mirror yet manage to ignore it but it has been stuck why other three man were standing right infront of you but you dont even know them. Like i said it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live." He added

I look at my brother and he gave the same expression as me ; sad, desperate for answers
