I'm disappointed to say this but this election has truly scared the living shit out of me.
As a lesbian girl who is dating someone who is experimenting with pronouns and gender, I'd like to say this is terrifying. But I have to keep going.
I want to apologize but I will be discontinuing THIS book and pausing any books I was going to release or potentially talk about.
If you are apart of the LGBTQ community, a POC/WOC, or a woman in general... this is NOT your end. You will keep fighting and you will demand your rights be protected.
Please be safe. Please take care of yourself. I've had anxiety all morning, and a panic attack. I am in a red state (Florida) which means I have already lost some very important things.
Take deep breaths, you will be okay. Cry it all out if you need (I am), talk to someone you trust, or take a moment to detach yourself from this election for a few moments... but do not give up. The suicide rates will probably be going up due to this election. It is not a "gotcha" moment for the right, it's sad.
Trans youth (transgender people in general), LGBTQ (youth, especially), women, POC, and many more are going to go through hell and we need to come together. My own parents are against my people and I won't have that. My family may be far right but I know the truth.
