Alas 4 na ng hapon nang lumabas ako sa kwarto at bumaba.

As I came downstairs, I heard someone cooking in the kitchen. 'Is he cooking dinner?' I approached the kitchen. Upon entering, I saw an unfamiliar back of a man cooking.

"Sino ka?"

Napa-hinto ito at nilapag ang kanyang dala, pagkatapus ay humarap saakin.

He turned to face me, tilting his head to the side. Time seemed to slow down as our eyes met, and shock froze on my face. And then, recognition dawned - it was Gage.

"What are you doing here?"

He dried his hands with a towel and leaned against the island counter, his eyes meeting mine. As I gazed at him, I couldn't help but feel drawn to his rugged charm.

His lips curled up into a sly smile.

"What are you, doing here?"

He tossed my question back at me.

"That's my question. And just so you know, this is my place."

He quirked an eyebrow, grinning.

"Or rather, my younger brother's place."

Younger what?!

"Gaión- Gage Achion Hoston Mylady"

Napa-kurap ako sa sinabi niya. Siya ang kuya ni...

"Did you like the gift?" he asked, his voice low and smooth, as he stepped closer. His fingers idly tousled his hair, making my heart skip a beat.

"Oo, sobrang ganda po. Maraming salamat" I stammered biting my lip.

I heard his low chuckle, sending shivers down my spine. "Glad to hear," he said, stopping in front of me. Why did his voice always sound so irresistibly sexy?

"I forced a smile, my palms growing sweaty.

"I made dinner for us." He added, his eyes sparkling with mischief,

"Just the two of us?" I echoed, my voice trembling.

He nodded, clearly entertained by my response.

"Where's Gale?"I asked, and he raised an eyebrow.

"Out,"

he said, turning back to the stove.

As we dined together, just the two of us, I couldn't help but steal glances at him. He sat across from me, eating serenely, oblivious to my gaze.

He looked even younger than gale, yet exuded a captivating charm. I found myself wondering, 'how old is he?'

He flashed a devilish grin. "Let's face it, I'm more captivating than your husband. But please, try not to stare so much. I wouldn't want to tempt fate... or steal you away from him." His low, husky laughter sent shivers down my spine as he savored my stunned expression.

He flashed a wink, i stared back in disbelief.

The nerve!

Beyond his charming smile, his culinary skills were equally impressive. This dinner was a 10 out of 10 - absolutely exquisite!

Pagkatapus naming kumain, tumayo ako para ligpitin ang mga kina-in namin, ngunit tumayo din siya.

"Let me handle it" i said, gently taking the dishes out of his hands.

"You sit down" sambit nito saakin.

"Hindi kaya ko na"

He shook his head, his expression resolute. "You'd better get accustomed to my presence. Im staying here for a whole year"
