"Sage." Panimula ng daddy ni, Gale kaya napatingin ako sa kanya.
Alam kong may gusto siya kanina pa tanungin. And i think he knows about, Gage and me.
Tumingin siya kay, Gale.
"I know you have reasons..." tumango ako.
"I'm angry after hearing you and Gale got divorced, and I never blamed you; I blamed him, knowing the marriage fell apart because of him."
I shook my head off gently.
"It's already broken from the very beginning." I said softly.
"You ran away. With..." hindi niya dinugtungan pero tumango ako.
I suddenly felt ashamed and bowed my head, gazing at the empty plate in front of me.
He stood up.
"Can we talk in private for a moment, Sage?" Tumingin ako kay tito at tumango.
Lumayo kami sa mesa at huminto siya sa harap ko. I suddenly felt ashamed and embarrassed.
"Do you love him?" I froze at his quistion. Hindi ko alam kung sino ang kanyang tinutukoy.
Inangat ko ang tingin ko at kita ko ang matamis na ngiti niya.
"P-Po?" Kahit na rinig ko ay inulit ko baka nagkamali lang ako ng inisip.
"I saw happiness in his eyes when we last spoke." Hindi pa din natanggal ang ngiti niya.
"He showed me a new emotion, isang emosyong hinding hindi kopa nakikita sa kanya noon." Natutuwang sambit ni tito sa akin.
Nanatili akong kunot noo sa kanyang mga sinasabi.
"Gage?" He nodded as i mentioned his name.
Pero palagi naman siyang naka ngiti sa akin ah? Ang alam ko masayahing tao si, Gage.
"And, as for Gale, he showed me an emotion I never expected." My lips parted.
"For the first time. On bended knees, while I'm on a meeting. He stormed inside kneeling in front of me. Begging me to bring you back to him." My eye's widened.
"It's his fault for being a jerk in the first place. Simula pagkabata niya ni hindi ko siya narinig humingi ng kahit ano sa akin. It's the first time actually he pleaded me for something..." biglang pumula ang mata ni tito.
He's holding back his emotion.
"I can't force you...i respect your decision kung sino man ang mahal mo sa kanila. Gale was never been close to me kahit si Gage. I tried to be the best father they wanted me to be. Gale did everything to make me happy but i failed to make him happy."
Hindi ko alam kung nakiki-usap ba siya sa akin...
"This is the only way I can make him happy... but I don't want to disappoint Gage either. Kinamumuhi-an ako ng ina niya, i also failed to be a husband. Hindi ko alam ang gagawin."
Bumagal ang paghinga ko. Dumaan ang sakit sa kanyang mga mata. Naguguluhan.
"M-My sister...does" binalik niya ang tingin sa akin.
"That's the reason i chooses to let him go. I can see happiness on his eyes while looking at aliana. Pero...bakit niya pilit bumalik kami? I know he hated me for a long time now."
He glanced at our table and found Gale looking at us while talking to my dad.
"It's your decision to make." Ngumiti ako at tumango.
"Maraming salamat po." I immediately hugged him.
Rinig ko ang mahinang tawa ni tito at hinagod ang likod ko.
"You successfully tamed two beasts."
