Part 45 Nagato's Birthday

Nagato woke up early in the morning and smiled

Nagato: It's finally here.

she got up and started getting dressed just as Mutsu barged in

Mutsu: HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEE-SAMA!!!!

Mutsu placed a few gifts down on the nearby table and hugged Nagato

Nagato: Thank you Mutsu. 

she hugged back and noticed the gifts

Nagato: Who are those from?

Mutsu: A few girls dropped them off before going on patrol. They said to wish you a happy birthday.

Nagato walked over to the gifts and picked one up from Kii and opened it revealing a beautiful red and black kimono with gold and white accents

Nagato: It's beautiful.

she put it on and was amazed by the material and how it felt against her skin.

Mutsu gained a cheeky smirk on her face

Mutsu: So you gonna wear that around (Y/N)? I think he believes that girls don't wear anything underneath them, you could prove him right.

Nagato blushed and swatted Mutsu lightly

Nagato: Go shoo. Let me enjoy these gifts in peace.

Mutsu left while giggling leaving Nagato red faced 

Nagato: That girl.

she continued opening her gifts getting a dream catcher from Shinano, some books from Soryuu and Hiryuu, some candy from the Mutsuki sisters, even a couple of invitations to join Yumi's ballet class from Illustrious and Unicorn

Nagato smiled at each gift before turning to the last one 

a blue and gold box wrapped with care and precision

Nagato: Must be Royal Navy.

she opened the box and gasped dropping it onto the table letting the contents onto the table 

Nagato: W-what?

she saw a card and read it seeing it was from Queen Elizabeth

Queen Elizabeth: Happy birthday dear Nagato I hope you have a splendid day. I know you have been feeling jealous of some of the girls on base getting to spend quite a lot of intimate time with our regular plane and have gifted you some things to assist with getting his attention on your special day. regards Queen Elizabeth 

 Nagato looked at the items a huge blush on her face as she picked up the items and inspected each one

Nagato: W-well m-maybe I should t-try.

 Nagato  shook her head and walked out of her room in her new kimono and a blush on her face that she tried to get rid of as she arrived at the mess hall

she walked to get some food and Nevada placed a slice of cake on her tray

Nevada: Happy birthday Nagato.

Nagato: Thank you.

Nevada: Got any plans today?

Nagato: Not really. I was just was gonna take it easy.

Oklahoma: You know they finished the carnival on the board walk.

Nagato: that sounds like a great idea. Thank you.

she turned and walked towards the tables seeing (Y/N) sitting down she quickly went over and sat down next to him

Nagato: Good morning (Y/N)-kun.
