(Y/N) was walking into the med bay after a couple of days of letting Kisaragi heal and recuperate

(Y/N): Morning Vestal how's Kisaragi?

Vestal: She's doing much better and will be allowed to leave as soon as I give her one last check up.

the 2 head to the small destroyer's room and (Y/N) saw her sitting on Yorktown's lap

Yorktown: So how did you end up in that little predicament?

Kisaragi: M-my fuel ran out an my radio was broken.

Yorktown held the kitten as Vestal walked over

Vestal: Ok sweetie just a quick checkup and you'll be good to go.

after a quick look over Vestal gave Kisaragi a clean bill of health

Yorktown: Are you hungry little one?

Kisaragi: Mhmm

Yorktown and (Y/N) took the small destroyer to the mess hall with Kisaragi holding onto (Y/N)'s hand

Yorktown: It seems she's gotten attached to you. she couldn't help but giggle as (Y/N) continued walking

(Y/N): It seems so.

as the 3 arrived and entered the building Eldridge ran up to the three but stopped when she saw Kisaragi and glared

(Y/N): Morning Eldridge. You doing ok?

Eldridge continued glaring at Kisaragi before walking over to (Y/N) and hugging his stomach

Eldridge: My papa.

Yorktown giggled and Kisaragi held onto (Y/N)'s arm tightly

(Y/N): Now Eldridge you gotta be nice.

Eldridge just continued to hold onto (Y/N) and glare at Kisaragi

(Y/N) led the two destroyers to a table as Yorktown got some lunch for them

(Y/N): Come on Eldridge play nice she won't hurt you.

Kisaragi held onto (Y/N)'s hand and shivered a bit

Eldridge: Why's she here?

(Y/N): She was stranded at sea and we rescued her

Eldridge looked at Kisaragi intently

Eldridge: No taking papa from us.

Yorktown soon arrived with some food and the 4 started eating with Kisaragi staying close to (Y/N)'s side
