"Ah, Naruse-san! Are you feeling better now?" Fukui asked, towering over Yayoi's petite frame that held the basket of drink bottles in both arms.

Everyone else held their breath in, waiting for Yayoi's answer. They were asking for her health but they were also asking for their giant Ace's wellbeing. Yayoi avoiding Murasakibara was noticed by everyone from the basketball team (and the whole school) because of the obvious effect it had on their Ace. The longer it takes for them to come into a reconciliation, the longer they'll have to witness the pitiful site of Murasakibara looking like an abandoned puppy. None of them thinks they can handle it, especially if he started to get grumpier since he is still in a sweets ban.

Yayoi nodded, "I've gotten over it quite quickly." She answered with a small smile before suggesting them to take their drink bottles from the basket. Once all bottles were taken, Yayoi handed the basket back to Arisa who said a small word of thank you. The two exchanged more words, not noticing the basketball team's dark aura.

Everyone took a look at each other, seeming to have sent a telepathic message to each other before nodding in agreement.

"Please join the basketball club as our second manager, Naruse-san!"

Their words resounded the whole gym and left Arisa and Himuro speechless, while Yayoi was wide-eyed in surprise.

Yayoi laughed, "I thought we were already over this convesation, no?"

"No, no, we never officially asked you until now," Himuro corrected with a knowing smile. He thought back to Murasakibara's unwillingness to ask Yayoi the question himself and his obvious disdain at this idea. Well, nothing he can do about it when the team asked her personally while Murasakibara was absent. Himuro just sighed, not wanting to think about how he can explain it to Murasakibara. And of course, it didn't go unnoticed by Arisa.

"Hmm..." Yayoi pretended to look like she was pondering for the right answer but she really had no plan to join as a manager. She looked over to Arisa with eyes asking for her help. Arisa looked back at her, understanding Yayoi too well that even she can give the top three reasons on why Yayoi will reject the idea.

One, she's lazy.
Two, she really could care less about basketball.
Three, she's busy helping out with her family store before and after school.

Arisa sent Yayoi a look before nodding. Yayoi closed her eyes with a sigh, before smiling at the team.

"No."

Despair filled the team's expressions.

"At least tell them the reason, Yayoi." Arisa insisted despite enjoying the basketball team's faces of despair.

Yayoi gave a knowing smile, before looking away from Arisa to look at the whole gym. Her eyes glazed over the basketball court and the basket full of basketball balls for a moment. She hummed before looking back to the team who was waiting patiently for her response.

"No reason really, I just don't wanna do it." Yayoi laughed brightly, "It feels like it'll be bothersome too."

The gym went quiet after her answer.

The team had a thought in unity: Naruse-san and Murasakibara are quite similar..

Yayoi didn't pay mind to it at all, more like she ignored it. She bowed to the team before saying her goodbyes and skipping out of the gym.

On her way out, Arisa shouted: "If you're gonna make sweets again make sure you don't share it with that purple titan!"

Yayoi paused on her steps, glanced back at Arisa with her hands clasped behind her back with a tilt of her head in her confusion.

"Murasakibara, Atsushi is banned from chocolate or any sweets because of his sweet tooth cavity." Arisa explained.

Yayoi's mouth formed an 'o' shape in realisation.

'So she didn't know...'  The team realised.

Himuro sweat dropped while Arisa sighed, "So you didn't know?"

"No?" Yayoi said, "Well I did notice he was mumbling a lot about chocolate at times but..." She gasped in realisation and asked out loud, "Was it the chocolate?" She then placed a hand over her mouth, remembering what happened at the rooftop.

Arisa narrowed her eyes at Yayoi's reddening cheeks, "Did you give him chocolate?"

"No." Yayoi denied, now trying hard to contain her laughter, 'Not directly at least.' She didn't vocalise her last sentence, it'll be a secret to keep for herself for future reference.

Yayoi waved before skipping away again, now thrilled at her new discovery. She makes a mental note to thank her Mum when she gets home because it all started with her Mum's trial chocolate that she stole from the store fridge.

"Actually I'll just call her now." Yayoi decides and dials up her Mum.

"Well hello my beautiful daughter," Her Mum answered, "Are you calling me to update your love life?"

"No and yes," Yayoi replies.

"Which is it?"

"Both. Anyways, do you still remember that trial chocolate bar you made for the store before?"

"Trial chocolate bar? Which one??"

"The chocolate that had a hard shell of dark chocolate with a mix of hazelnut and milk chocolate cream in the middle--"

"Oh! The chocolate that you stole from my fridge!"

"Yes! The chocolate that I stole-- Oops."

"...So it was you!" Her Mum fumed over the call, "You're in for a lecture when you get back, young lady."

Yayoi bit her lip with a sigh and in defeat.

"And so? What about that chocolate bar that you stole from my fridge?"

"Can you stop repeating it and calling me a chocolate thief please?"

"It's what you did and it is what you are."

Yayoi groaned, "Ugh, I just want to know what name you were gonna give it."

"The name? I never really thought of it. I had to taste it first before giving it a name but someone stole it from my fridge so..."

"I get it, I get it already! Geez..."

"Oh! Why don't you name it then?" Her Mum chirped, "Since you asked me about it, I'm guessing the chocolate left an impression on Atsushi-kun?"

"...Why is his name coming out of this conversation?"

"Well, did it?" Her Mum pressed for an answer.

"..."

"I'm taking that silence for your answer." Her Mum laughed, "So? What do you want to name it?"

Yayoi hummed as she looked up to the rooftop where it all started.

"A Chocolate Contract?"

"Despite being the bright daughter of mine, you suck at naming as always."

Yayoi could practically feel the disappointment from her Mum over the phone.

"Leave my naming sense alone please," Yayoi sighed again, she can never win against her Mother. "And it's up to you if you want to use it."

"I'll let you know if we'll sell it in our store, but are you sure you don't want to name it as 'First Kiss'?"

"Thank Mum! I'm hanging up now, bye!" Hastily, Yayoi pressed on the red button on her phone, "Geez, how much does she know anyways..."

After a few minutes of walking home while contemplating on the name, Yayoi had cam with a conclusive thought: 'Maybe I should ask Murasakibara-san to come up with a name too.'
