                                                                    MANSI'S POV

I was awestruck when he handed me the shimmering piece of cloth he selected.

"I'll be here." Rahul leaned against the wall, his eyes glowing with soft satisfaction. My eagerness to watch myself in this attire made me sprint toward the trial room, changing and slipping into the lehenga and .......Wow.

I sucked in a sharp breath. The rich red color popped against my skin and gave it an ethereal glow while the low V-neck neither looked too deep nor too high. My lehenga shimmered with subtle luminescence every time I moved, and when I turned and twisted my head, I could see the delicate strings crisscrossing over my back. The girl helped me tie them, securing the knots. Frankly speaking, I hate these knots, but the glimpse I caught of myself in the mirror made me forget about this.

How was he so sure about this one??? I have literally struggled for the past 30 minutes and hadn't tried a single piece but it amazed me how perfect this dress is plus it's been selected by him.I stepped out mumbling softly "What do you think?" He was still leaning on the same wall, looking at his phone screen.

Fine, I was feeling nervous going in front of him

Fine, I was feeling nervous going in front of him.Our eyes connected, and a fire lit my stomach. He wasn't looking at the phone or anything else in the room anymore. I could feel the weight of it on my skin, like a lover's rough caress. With a simple look, he lit me up from the inside out, no matter how many sarcastic replies I threw at him, he always has the clever comebacks.

"Perfect" Reverence weighed his soft assessment. The butterflies fluttered, uncaring."You have a good eye for clothing." I forced my legs to move until I stood less than three feet from him. His rich, masculine scent flooded my lungs " I'm impressed.""It's one of my talents," He drawled.

The suggestiveness was subtle, but it was enough to send a rush of heat over my cheeks. Laughter danced in his eyes when I lifted my chin.

He has always been cool, calm, collected."Good to know." I didn't take his bait but couldn't ignore that his boyish grin made me forget about the whole world..................................................
