As the elevator doors slide open, Elouise and Leon step into the Hive. The air smells stale, and the dim lights flicker as they move into the shadowed corridors. The place is just as cold and lifeless as Elouise remembers, but there's something different this time—a layer of decay that wasn't there before. The walls have deteriorated, and debris litters the floor, giving the once-imposing facility an eerie, abandoned feel.

"Nothing's changed, except it looks more broken than last time," Elouise mutters, her voice low as she surveys the room.

Leon nods, his expression hard. "Umbrella left a mark here. No surprise it's fallen apart."

The two make their way through the twisted hallways, past the ominous security doors and dark, empty rooms, until they reach the control room. Elouise walks straight to the main terminal, cracking her knuckles before settling into the cold tub with ice . She glances up at Leon. "I'm going in. Cover me."

Leon steps into position by the door, his gun drawn. "I've got your back."

Elouise takes a deep breath, focusing as the digital interface flickers to life in front of her. Her eyes cloud over for a moment as she connects to the system, her mind diving into the network. It's as if she's slipping into a different world entirely, the outside noise fading as her consciousness merges with the system.

In the deep dive, the world around her transforms. She's surrounded by towering walls of code, each line shimmering and flickering like a digital landscape. But somewhere in the shadows, she can feel it—the Red Queen, lurking like a virus, waiting for her.

Inside the system, it feels colder, darker. She hears the voice of the Red Queen, an ominous presence echoing in her mind, taunting her with its sharp, mechanical voice.

"You really think you can defeat me? You're nothing but a tool—an experiment. Your mind will break before you ever breach my defenses."

Elouise pushes back the rising panic, her focus sharpening. She reaches out, tapping into the deeper levels of the system. She can feel the Red Queen's resistance, but her connection to the Blackwall is stronger, more instinctual. With each passing second, the walls of the digital world grow tighter, and she has to fight harder to keep her grip.

Back in the real world, Leon's eyes dart around the room as he hears the distant growls of zombies approaching. He can hear the pounding of their footsteps, closer and closer. He takes a defensive stance, gun raised, as he positions himself between Elouise and the door. He fires off a few shots, each one landing with precise force, but he knows it won't be enough if they overwhelm him.

"Elouise, hurry up!" he shouts, sweat beading on his forehead as the door rattles from the force of the approaching zombies.

Inside the deep dive, Elouise's concentration is shattered by the urgency of Leon's voice. But she forces herself to stay focused. The Red Queen is attacking her mind with waves of intrusive data, corrupting her thoughts, trying to overload her system. But Elouise fights through it, her fingers moving like lightning across invisible keys, cracking the system's defenses.

Just as the zombies break through the door, their snarls growing louder, Elouise finally accesses the core system. A pulse of energy shoots through her, and with a final, desperate push, she sends a command to the Hive's security systems.

From above, machine guns descend from the ceiling, their barrels spinning into action with a sharp metallic whine. The room erupts in a storm of gunfire as the machines mow down the zombies in a flurry of bullets. Elouise watches, her heart racing, as the undead are ripped apart, their bodies littering the floor.

She blinks, the deep dive breaking as the cold, lifeless sensation of the system fades away. She gasps for air, her body tense, and shivers from the disorienting transition. Leon is right beside her, his face hard as he watches her with a mix of concern and admiration.
