To say it was chaos outside, was an understatement, Alethea could already hear the concerned and scared screams and shouts of the people who were out there. The large groups who had been here readily celebrating and waving flags were now scattering in any direction they could go. Of course, there were still some who were loitering around, watching the fight which was happening before them. Needless to say, no one would've quite seen a fight like a fight between Hank and Erik. It seemed like Hank had managed to deter Erik from flat out shooting Raven in front of everyone, but that had also meant they had gone fighting off to the side near a fountain.
Alethea left Charles to calm Logan down and flew out the window with a sigh. Erik and Hank were busy, totally caught up in their own bubble of trying to hurt each other or get distance, Alethea wasn't sure which was which and by who; but it meant that she could at least fly down and help Raven up and off of the ground. She looked confused, her arm in Alethea's grasp as she hauled her quickly up, the wound in her leg made putting her foot down hard, let alone any weight on it. Alethea looked her over, other than the gunshot wound, she seemed relatively in one piece, even after throwing herself out of a window, especially considering how high that window was.
"We need to get out of here," Alethea said suddenly, the pair were just standing there wasting time. Raven looked her over with a slightly distant expression before nodding. "Can you walk?"
"Just about, with no thanks to Erik." Raven scoffed and shot a look to the fountain; the two males were still fighting it out and she looked back at Alethea when she took a step forward before rolling her eyes. Hovering up into the air, Alethea scooped her hands under Raven's arms and took off flying.
"Yeah, he's an arse, tell me about it. We had a plan, you know? An actual plan!" Alethea said, glancing down at Raven, who looked less than pleased or at least comfortable dangling in Alethea's hands. It wasn't like Alethea was going to drop her, not a chance. "I wish it was under better circumstances, but it is good to see you."
"I'm sorry we are meeting like this, Thea." Raven looked up confused when Alethea stopped moving, Raven's bare feet could touch the ground and she managed to wiggle free and looked confusedly back up at the purple-haired female above her.
"I can't move." Alethea looked down at Raven, she looked back to the fountain to see that poor Hank had been basically strung up, and Erik was climbing slowly out of the water, a hand pointing in their direction.
Alethea cursed any small metallic pieces on her clothing that Erik could manipulate. It was ridiculous the minute metallic items that Erik could interact with, it didn't even have to be a massive piece of metal, just something for him to link to. "I can't leave you," Raven glanced around themselves, well, she couldn't get Alethea down. Her being stuck in midair was certainly weird, funny if it wasn't in such a moment like this.
"Run! Look, he is not interested in me. It's you, Raven. It's you he wants. Just disappear from here, we will find you, or you'll find us; either way, we'll see each other again. I'm not great at fighting Erik, I don't know many who are, but I will distract him enough for you to get away." Alethea said while watching Raven step back awkwardly, while she spoke Raven was backing up more and more. Alethea smiled, happy at least she was listening to her and could distance herself from Erik. Alethea was rather sure he'd still try and kill her, considering he was going to do it in front of a massive crowd, even with the crowd dispersed he'd probably still give it a good bash.
"Be careful." Raven said, her voice low and her expression pained. She didn't want to leave Alethea to try and tackle Erik, just not literally. But even as she backed away, she could see the growing glow coming from Alethea. Her friend, her adopted sister could be a mini time bomb, she understood what Alethea was doing; her powers could displace the attachment Erik had and he'd have no choice but to let her go, just Raven hoped Alethea could control the explosion which would come from her in a smaller scale.
