Avatar Fun Fact (Yay!): The episode "The Great Divide" was actually one of the least popular episodes in the entire series. Ok, so I'm really focusing on this story for now, I'm on break from school, so I have a lot of time, so I'm trying to post two chapters a day, one chapter in this book, and one chapter in another one of my books. Picture on the side there is of Serena in Water Tribe clothes, again, she looks like a copy of Katara but she's about a year older. So, yeah, here's the chapter!

Previously on Avatar...
"You look exactly like..." He began, and then trailed off.
"An older version of Katara? Yeah. When we were little we used to play pranks on everyone. They couldn't tell us apart until I grew up." I smiled down at my reflection....
"Aang," Katara calls, "I'm not sure whatever this is is working. I think I'm hallucinating."
"So am I Katara!" Sokka calls, "What do you see?"
"I think it's Rena, but that can't be. She diappeared a long time ago, after her parents died."
"Really, I see Rena too!" Sokka laughs.
"Well, that's good. It means I'm not invisible." I say, smiling.
"Rena! It really is you!" Katara screams.
"Yup, it's me, Kat." I walk over to give my cousin a hug.
"Well, do you all remember when my mom and dad died?" Katara and Sokka nod. "They had gone to Ba Sing Se to help the Earth Kingdom through the Fire Nation siege. Before they left, they each gave me a gift, something special of theirs, so that I could always have a piece of them with me. I still have their presents. My mother gave me her medicine bag. It had many herbs in it, as well as a vial of regular water and a vial of spirit water, from the Spirit Oasis at the North Pole. She was allowed inside the Oasis because she was the best healer in the entire city. My father gave me his best bow, made of a whale rib. He found the skeleton on the day I was born and knew the bow would be mine someday. He also gave me a single arrow, that I can only use once. It's extremely powerful, as the point was made of one of the whale's teeth that was sharpened, the shaft was made of a stick from one of the trees in the Spirit Oasis, and the fletching is made of two feathers, one black and one white, that my mother found laying next to each other in the Spirit Oasis the first time she went in.
"But I was still Water Tribe. I practiced waterbending in secret, and thought of running away to the South Pole, to you all, everyday. But something always held me back. It never felt right. I had to wait for the right moment, and then I began to feel that moment coming closer. I made sure I was ready to leave at any given time. Then we were sent on the mission to capture Aang, and I knew I had to help him escape. Even sitting in the rafters of his cell, I was waiting for the moment. Then a masked person came in. Someone the soldiers have started calling, 'The Blue Spirit', and I knew it was time to make my move. So I did. And here I am." I finished my story, slightly out of breath, and waited for someone to say something.
***
"Wow." Katara was the first to speak, "You've been through a lot. We had no idea. To us, you had just disappeared. When our dad left to fight in the war, we told him he'd better look for you while he was traveling." I nod.
"Wait... So you lived in the same house as the Fire Lord? Do you know any Fire Nation secrets? Please tell me you do!" Sokka said, grabbing my shoulders and shaking me.
