*Kendall's POV*
It was about time I get this done. It was night time, the place was so silent and the dim lights came on and streamed through the entire buliding. I knew that Andrew, Shay and Veronica were on the balcony and I figured that it was about time I get these apologies done, and have a talk with Shay. I needed to. I couldn't wait any longer.
I reached up onto the huge extended balcony where the three of them stood.
I walked out onto the huge balcony after sliding the glass pane open to get to them. They had shut it.
Andrew and the redhead were just having a glaring competition...or something of the sort because they only stared at each other dangerously. I was hoping they wouldn't try to push each other off the banister.
They all wore the same clothes as earlier. I was wondering how Shay would react to me now.
One way to find out.
I walked up to her slowly. Her back was turned to me and she was leaning on the banister, staring at the nothingness in the dark.
But now I could feel Andrew's eyes on me, but I'll leave that confrontation for afterwards. I wanted to talk to Shay first. Her black dress still clingling and hair blowing slightly with the gentle breeze, I rest my hand on her exposed shoulder. She jumped a bit out of the sudden disturbance and turned around.
When she did, I was trying to read her expression...to try to get a look at her mood or thoughts but...nothing.
She attempted to fake a smile and turn back around, but I beat her to her reaction. I rest my hand back on her shoulder and pulled her back to face me again slightly. 'Shay...I think we need to talk.'
'You think?' He voice raisted a pitch higher. 'I-' She didn't bother to finish what she was about to say. She just stopped, look at me and sighed, then averted her gaze and face to the floor.
I raised her attention back to me directly by hinting her chin upwards with my fingers. 'Look at me,' I began. I had to convince her. 'It's a long story.'
She raised her eyebrows knowingly. 'Such nice kidnappers we have.' She said and smiled ....it was fake.
'Shay...'
'Yes master?' She falsely gleamed and then rolled her eyes and was about to turn away.
'Could you just listen to me just for a little while please? ' I begged. 'I have never hated myself so much. I had no choice.'
'He's right Shay.' I heard Andrew say from behind me.
'Shut up Andrew.' She got sassy and glared at him. 'You..shouldn't be talking right now. I just can't believe anything...any of this.' She exasperatingly threw her hands in the air to exaggerate her feelings.
'It's Andrew's fault, just to start this confrontation off.' I blamed. On my path, it was the truth.
But, he defended himself. 'No Kendall, it's all your fault.'
We ended up glaring at each other, Andrew and I for a while until Shay broke the stare. 'Hello? I think you guys should start explaining because if I don't get things straight tonight, someone's going to accidentally fall over this banister and it's not me.' I think she saw the hint of a smile that was playing on me because I remember redhead was here too...even though this clearly was not a time for joking. 'Don't you dare look at Veronica.'
Her voice sounded so bland right now, like she was so tired. She probably wanted to have a bath and sleep it off and home it was just some twisted dream. I'd offer her some clothes later to do that, since Sabrina wouldn't be here and she had already packed ALL of her clothes for the honeymoon...so I heard.
