*Andrew's POV*
Some part of me felt so enraged when Melanie asked if the redhead was the best I could do, as if there was nothing between me and Shay, and me and her anymore. So right, we established that her 'liking ' of me was just a play. What was she trying to do? Call me a manwhore discreetly?
Oh you know, I was watching that Veronica scope out the building last night and counted the guards to take out. I was quite proud of the warrior like half demon for doing that. I mean, it was amusing because all four of us knew that sooner or later, that sneaky side was gonna get the best of her.
Before Melanie found us though, when I had walked into Kendall 's room, that was before we made the plan to scare Veronica, I saw Shay was leaned onto him. Not sure about how I was supposed to feel, because.. I mean, we only made the break up official, or whatever was left of it, just a few hours before.
What if I had tried to make amends to keep us. I mean, that's my brother she's extra close to. Were they a thing already ? It's weird considering that people would be officially calling us all siblings by this evening.
She probably prefers him anyway, he was always better than me...or maybe she 's into three year older guys, rather than one year older ones ...just maybe.
It's the next day.
I had just woken up to the sound of someone banging down the door of the holding room where I had slept because it used to be my room.
Fancy interior redo I must say.
I don't even know the time.
'Could you wait?!' I shouted at the person attempting to have a boxing match with the hard door.
I unlocked it and turned the knob. I dreaded to see who was behind it. Melanie deleted and shut off the camera tapes right? That means I was the only traitor on board this palace. No proof of Kendall's admitting, Shay's innocence to escape from this mess I got her into and Veronica snooping around to take out our ...well Jared's security.
I braced myself for any physical impact to come from behind the door I was about to open.
'Kendall? Are you serious?' I was exasperated. He had this set pleased smirk on his face that I wanted to wipe off right now.
'Knowing that you were flipping the hell out in here was worth it.' He stated. I thought it was one of the guards. Stupid boy. I was glaring at him, not in my glory at all. I noticed a bag slung over his arm. He slid it off and chucked it to me. 'Jared gave these to me this morning for us to wear later. Nobody discovered the camera situation as yet...strangely. So, suit up. Ceremony begins at three.'
I glanced down at his watch to get a time check. 11:30. Great. I had enough time to think about all the possible ways I could be sentenced in these paths.
'Where are the girls?'
'Crash course for this afternoon 's session. I heard that they're gonna eradicate redhead's earrings. It's quite baffling how this is some sort of kidnapping, revenge scheme, and there they are, preparing to dress pretty for a wedding...the kidnapper's wedding.' Well that was more humorous than baffling to me, even though, always the calm before the storm. I mean, how often does someone get dragged to a distant place unwillingly, locked in a room, then be told the night before that they're bridesmaids? Silly, but real right now.
*Shailene's POV*
It was breaking my heart to know that they we're going to drag my dad here, to open up his half healed heart wounds from the divorce.
Martha is Melanie's mother. I would say that's why she was how she was but Mel completely turned my thoughts over last night. She changed. I could understand her. After Kendall's breakdown, I totally felt her apology. She wasn't sure about who she was supposed to be. So was Andrew and Kendall.
