There I was, standing on the bridge with the one I was cheating with—and my boyfriend. Why did I cheat on him? Very simple: he cheated on other people, so this is what he gets. A whole group of people was watching us. He was humiliated, and he hated it. That was exactly the kind of look I wanted to see on his face. I was laughing inside. Of course, I couldn't show it, but I had to hold it in. He cheated on someone months ago, and now he got cheated on. If I were an actress, I would have gotten at least ten awards by now.
Anyway, back to the moment. He looked at me with anger, walking closer towards me. I wasn't scared. Why should I be? And looking back now, I should ask—why wouldn't I be? He made a fist and punched me in the face, sending me flying backward. I hit the pole behind me, losing my balance as I stood on the edge of the bridge, almost falling off. Then suddenly, I felt a hand grab mine, pulling me back up, and before I knew it, everything turned black...
