New day, new morning, everything is new again. Nothing changes...same place indifferent people with their uninteresting faces. Some of them are very close to me, some of them I know so well, some of them I used to call friends. Its hard to find real friends these days. I'm pretty lucky to have real ones...no, a real one. His name is Greg, the only one that I trust my own life. He is not a family member, but he is like a brother I've never had.
We met in high school. He was from one universe,I was from another one. Nevertheless, we had common interests, like reading, music, art etc. We got closer everyday, and I started to count on him, my secrets, my everyday routine, and all the crap that is happening around me. He is one of those rare people that you can watch stars with, speaking about philosophy and that we need some females next to us. How should I describe him? He is tall like me, with messy hair, brown eyes, and with a mind out of every standard. He is a dreamer, living in his own fantasy world like Narnia, with his own inhuman powers and abilities. He has a goal to destroy all the evil in his wonderland, and not to let those demons out of their cages. There was a horrible time he did it ones. He opened those cages and let them out, to freedom, and the end was horrific. He did so many mistakes, but all of them were unintentional. I don't judge him for his past. He used to cut and torture himself. He was in a serious depression, and was trapped inside his mind with no solutions and answers. Demons were inside of him, taking his breathe away. I knew that it was hard for him not to look back to all the scars that he had left on his skin. He was all in scars, a fragile boy who had so many dreams and so many obstacles in front of him.
Greg was bullied in his middle school all his life. He was scared of the reality like no one else, so he created his own world and started to live it. He always needed someone to complete him and stay by his side. His attempts to find his perfect pair weren't successful till he found her. Before, he had crush on one girl from our school, 'cuz she was hot or something. He offered her to become his girlfriend, but she refused...but u know in a very cold and gross way ever possible. She literally screwed him out of the planet. After that he was down all the time, disappointed, and again in need of that extraordinary one.
New day, new morning, again he was prepared to waste his day as pointless as he could. That day he met her, Rebel. They didn't like each other at first, 'cuz she was very funny, and laughing all the time. He doesn't like when people laugh around him, as he thinks laughter is because of him being silly. He thought that she is boring like everyone, though they spoke for a while till we got out. After a little talk he started to change his first impression of her. After a couple of weeks he started texting her like I did. In contrast, they conversations were deeper than ours. They started to share their every thought and almost every memory. Well, again he was the only one talking about himself. He didn't know her either. Moreover, he liked mysteries more than me, he was tangled in mysteries and liked investigate them himself. However, every time I ask what kind of person Rebel is, he doesn't have a concrete answer.
They started dating, and continue till now. I guess he finally found that special one however hard it is for me to accept it. She doesn't keep that distance from him like she does to me, and the worst thing is that I got it too late. Greg is looking at her like at no one else in his all conscious life. I can see stars inside his pupils, he is all into her. Maybe he's already found his soulmate...well that's not my business now.
I was lying in my room when phone rang me.
"Dude, I'm trying to call u already half an hour, where have you been?" Greg literally screamed
"Greg...u know I'm too lazy to pick up the phone"
"Now listen to me fat-ass, get out of that fucking house, and get your ass here!"
"Okayyyy fine, don't yell at me I'm coming, don't eat anything without me" I laughed
"We've got some things to talk about so hurry up" He told me in serious way
"Okay, Okay, don't worry I won't be late" I said hanging up the phone.
New day, new things, I hoped for the best. I hope he has some good news for me.
