Chapter 43 • Aggie day

* The next day *
* Isla-Wren's POV *

During the night, I had a nightmare and was scared that mummy was leaving me like Kiki had and ran into her room and ended up sleeping with her.

I wake up and roll over so I was burrito'd in blanky which wakes mummy up
Lucy: You ok baby?
Isla-Wren: Mhmm
I hum and she wraps her arms around me.

We cuddle for a bit longer until mummy's alarm goes to which she groans and turns it off.
Lucy: Good morning babes
She kisses my head
Lucy: Are you ok?
I nod
Lucy: good
Lucy: so just a reminder of what's happening
I nod
Lucy: Aggies gonna pick you up then youre gonna spend the day with Aggie who will then drop you back home when I've finished all of my signing stuff.
I nod
Isla-Wren: Ok mummy
Lucy: Shall we get some breakfast?
I nod
Lucy: come on then
She says and we get out of bed and go downstairs where Narla runs upto us so I give her love whilst mummy makes breakfast.

Lucy: Breakfast Izzy
I stand up and go into the kitchen where I sit at the island next to mummy and see my usual
Isla-Wren: thank you mummy
Lucy: No problem baby

As we start eating breakfast in a comfortable silence, I break it
Isla-Wren: I really miss Kiki mummy
Mummy looks to me with a sympathetic look
Lucy: I know darling, we can call her later if you want?
I nod
Isla-Wren: yes please
Mummy nods
Lucy: Remember aswell that in a month or so you are going on holiday to see Kiki
I nod
Isla-Wren: But that's so far away
Lucy: I know baby

The rest of breakfast is in a comfortable silence.

After breakfast,
Lucy: Shall we go and get done?
I nod
Lucy: You go up, I'm just gonna sort the dishes out
Isla-Wren: Ok
I jump down and come upstairs to my bedroom where I first make my bed then I go over to my wardrobe and pick out this outfit.
