When the rain is pouring,
but you're warm inside,
staring out the window,
lost in your own mind.
When a swarm of birds
is flying by,
and you're turning your head
to nod them goodbye.
When genuine laughter
fill the air,
not only your own
that you want to share.
When a stranger looks up
just to offer a smile,
then disappears
for a long, long while.
When a street musician
from further away
hits a beautiful note
that brightens your day.
Those are the moments
I'm talking about,
the ones we should keep
in our hearts forever.
Because these moments,
these very minutes,
are the heaven on earth we keep looking for.
