Chapter 24: Spying on the rival.

(Y/N) and Rainbow Dash were at Crystal Prep Academy, and she was spying on the competition.

Rainbow Dash: Crystal Prep High School. The competition!

She sneaks around the bushes as (Y/N) follows her.

(Y/N): Explain to me why are we doing this again?

Rainbow Dash: We're trying to figure out what they're up to. I'm sick and tired of losing to these assholes.

(Y/N): Right. Did I forget to mention that you're awesome at sneaking around? You'd give Snake from Metal Gear Solid a run for his money.

Rainbow Dash: *chuckles* Oh (Y/N), you really know what to say to a girl.

(Y/N): It's what I like to do.

Just then, the two of them heard a voice call out to them.

???: Hey (Y/N)! Hey Rainbow!

They looked to see Pinkie Pie wearing a fake bush on her head which caught them by surprise.

Rainbow Dash: Gah! What are you doing here?

Pinkie Pie: You said we needed to be sneaky while we check out the competition for the Friendship Games.

(Y/N): *sarcastically* Yeah, well you seem to be doing a real good job at that.

Pinkie Pie: Thanks (Y/N)!

(Y/N) just rolled his eyes before pinching the bridge of his nose while Rainbow Dash spots the Shadowbolts running nearby and quickly pulled both (Y/N) and Pinkie behind a tree as she lets out a sigh of relief.

Pinkie Pie: Wanna see what else I have?

She quickly puts on a black suit that came equipped with a grappling hook and night vision goggles.

Pinkie Pie: Cat burglar!

She then used the grappling hook to fly through the trees.

Pinkie Pie: Dog burglar!

She puts on a mask that resembled a purple dog and dug underground.

Pinkie Pie: Tree!

She stood inside of a cardboard tree suit with her arms disguised as branches.

Pinkie Pie: Bunny suit!

She hops out of a bush while wearing a tan bunny suit with a white poofy tail and fake bunny whiskers and teeth.

Pinkie Pie: Camouflage!

She wore a pink camouflage suit.

Rainbow Dash: *loud whispering* That's like the opposite of camouflage!

She then sees the Crystal Prep students coming their way.

Rainbow Dash: *loud whispering* Quick! Get down!

She pushes Pinkie into a nearby bush before grabbing (Y/N) and hiding behind a tree as the Crystal Prep students pass by. After they pass, (Y/N) and Rainbow move to a nearby bush. They both peek out from behind the bush only to find that the Shadowbolts were too far away to spy on.

Rainbow Dash: We need to get a better view.

(Y/N): Well, it's a good thing I can spawn a pair of binoculars.

Before he could snap his fingers to spawn the binoculars, he and Rainbow heard the sound of a balloon inflating as they felt themselves being lifted by a small platform of balloons and the one carrying them all was none other than Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie Pie: Best view of the house!

(Y/N): *thinking* How did I not see that coming?

While the view was better, it only lasted for a moment as they were starting to fly up way too high. Without thinking, Rainbow Dash popped all the balloons which of course led to the three of them falling into a nearby bush. The coach leading the Shadowbolts named Coach Rommel heard the loud thud from behind the bush and turns his head to see what had happened.

(Y/N): *whispering* Aw man, you two okay?

Rainbow Dash: *whispering* Yeah, I'm fine.

Pinkie Pie: So am I!

She then inflates another balloon and lifted up from behind the bush, exposing their spot which led to Rainbow quickly pulling down the balloon and deflates it. Pinkie then sniffs her.

Pinkie Pie: You smell like vanilla!

Rainbow quickly covered her mouth.

Rainbow Dash: *whispering* We're trying to eavesdrop! That means they don't hear us!

Pinkie Pie: *loud whispering* Ooh! I have just the thing!

As one of the Shadowbolts named Said Thunderbolt was doing some sit-ups, Pinkie used a large microphone and held it above him which was only picking up his heavy breathing.

Rainbow Dash: What are you doing?! We're trying to spy on them! Do you even know what the word "spy" means?!

(Y/N): *whispering* Rainbow! Rainbow!

Rainbow Dash: It means being sneaky! It means not being seen! It means BEING QUIET!

Her shouting was so loud that it caught the attention of the Shadowbolts as they glanced at the three of them.

(Y/N): Well done Dashie, you blithering idiot!

Coach Rommel: Hey, do you mind? We're in the middle of a class here.

(Y/N): Oh! Uhhh, good to know. We'll just GET OUR FUCKING ASSES OUTTA HERE!

He takes off.

Pinkie Pie: Bush to Dash. Code red. You have been spotted. RUUUUUUUUUUUNNN!

She sprints off while Rainbow ran close behind the two of them. Meanwhile, the Shadowbolts were just watching them take off in confusion.

Peacock Plume: Anyone mind telling me what just happened?

Said Thunderbolt: I think we were being spied on.

Alizarin Bubblegum: If that's the case, then those three weren't doing a very good job at it.

Marco Dafoy: Now hold on a minute, I think I recognize one of them. Wasn't the dude the one who fought that demon girl at CHS and the one who defeated the sirens during the Battle of the Bands?

Peacock Plume: Yeah, I think his name was (Y/N) (L/N), the most popular student at CHS and the one who has a harem filled with multiple girls in it.

Orange Sherbette: Wait, that's him? Oh, well, good for him I guess.

She said a bit sad along with the other girls.

Track Starr: Are you girls okay?

Coach Rommel: Enough. You can talk more about that (Y/N) guy later, now move faster.

He blew his whistle which gained groans from the other students as they got back to doing sit-ups as the girls had thoughts in their minds.

Girls: *thinking* I wish I could be in (Y/N)'s harem.

We cut back to (Y/N), Pinkie, and Rainbow as they finally made it back to Canterlot High as they stopped to catch their breaths.

(Y/N): *panting* Okay, we are NEVER doing that again!

Rainbow Dash: Yeah, at least not with Pinkie Pie!

Pinkie Pie: Why? You were the one who exposed us, Dash!

Rainbow Dash: Yeah, well I wouldn't have done so if you weren't holding a ginormous microphone over them, Pinkie!

(Y/N): Girls, it doesn't matter who's at fault here. What matters is that now they think CHS is playing dirty thanks to us. But for now, let's head back inside.

The girls nodded in agreement as they head back inside the school.
