A NEED FOR FUN

The High Priestess Aset was in her balcony. She had recently found out that her chamber was connected to a large balcony outside. One could see an extension and clear view of the world created in the sanctuary.
She sat on a brick built balcony step. The view she saw was breathtaking. The heat was burning the brown sands of the sanctuary. Palm trees were growing around the buildings. The buildings that were made from stone, appeared as columns that were highly decorated with carved ancient symbols and painted with hieroglyphs.
Two large pyramids were towering above the ancient architecture of Egypt. The High Priestess Aset let her long black hair flow freely. A black veil with golden patterns sat loosely on her head.
Her neck was dressed in a thick colorful necklace. Her feminine body was covered in a beautiful white dress. She held a golden plate in her hands as she ate the meal prepared for her by the maids.
The image was a spectacular view to enjoy her delicious meal. Brown pots with huge green plants were placed around the balcony.
She was lost in the view that she had not noticed Maid Meryt enter her chamber. Excuse me my lady, Maid Meryt said standing behind the high priestess who's back faced her.
The high priestess turned and her face was as bright as the moon when she saw the maid. Maid Meryt! She cried placing her empty plate down. She hugged her. Oh my! I was so worried about you. How are you feeling? The high priestess asked worried, staring at her face.
My lady, I am well. I didn't know that my absence would be missed, Maid Meryt spoke softly. She was shy from the embrace the high priestess gave her.
I'm glad you are okay. Do you remember what happened? The high priestess asked.
No, I woke up to my mother next to me. Head Maid Hunet, Maid Meryt spoke.
Head Maid Hunet is your mom? The High Priestess Aset questioned alarmed. She had no idea. But, it slowly made sense why the head maid called out Maid Meryt on the first evening of her arrival at the sanctuary.

The High Priestess Aset sat patiently in her chamber as she waited for the head maid. The Head Maid let herself in after announcing herself just in time. My lady, Head Maid Hunet spoke calmly. Are you ready? The head maid asked with a warm smile on her face.
The head maid was a middle aged woman. Her black and grey hair was tied in a bun. Her eyes were colored in pink and black eyeshadow. Her lips had a dark maroon color. Golden straight earrings were visible from here ears.
A garment for the head maid, made in golden and red colors, was dressed on her mature body. She had a black spot at the right side of her forehead. Her energy displayed her youthfulness at heart.
Yes, Head Maid Hunet, the high priestess said as she stood from her bed. She decided to dress in all back. A veil covered her hair and a long beautiful black robe dressed her beautifully shaped body.
We are going to the Ermes Ankh of Style. It is a pyramid prestige that offers eternal style. The head maid steeped outside of the high priestess's chamber. She was standing outside next to four women, who were under her care. They were maids that will accompany them. Maid Meryt was among them.
The high priestess left her chamber. She glanced at Maid Meryt and threw a soft smile at her. She knew how much the maid wanted to accompany her.
I will lead the way, my lady, you will follow behind and the maids will come after you, the head maid said to be high priestess as they made their way to the two chariots waiting outside for them.
The high priestess was excited to explore a place outside the walls of where she had been staying. A few guards will escort us to ensure our safety. I will ride with His Highness's guest and the rest will follow on a different chariot.
The chariot the high priestess rode next to the head maid and two guards was surprisingly spacious. They rode past tall pillars that acted as an exit for the place the crown prince stayed.
From a distance, the visible sight of a large pyramid appeared. She saw palm trees towering below the pyramid. This must be one among the pyramids I saw from my balcony, High Priestess Aset thought to herself when her sight caught the magnificent view of a waterfall steaming before the pyramid.
They came to a stop and the high priestess could not believe her eyes. Beautiful right? The head maid said to her. I have been here twice, this is the third time. The crown prince only gives access to women he likes, she added.
Well, I hope he doesn't like me like that, the high priestess thought. Very beautiful, I have always wanted to go inside a pyramid, the high priestess said joyfully.

It was a pyramid store. The high priestess was taking in every detail she witnessed. Above the entry gate, was a sign written, 'Ermes Pyramid Prestige: Eternal Style'. They really had a whole pyramid full of exotic clothes? The high priestess asked herself amazed with such advancements in ancient Egypt.
The head maid guided them inside with a special key she used to open the door. The prestigious ancient boutique was covered in golden sands. Ancient hieroglyphs covered every corner of the pyramid walls inside.
At the tip inside the pyramid. Above. Was an ancient logo and the word 'ERMES' written in capital. At each corners was a line full of designs from many gifted designers.
The timeless fashion pieces echoed the grandeur of ancient Egypt. They really made all these magnificent clothes, the high priestess said as her fingers traced every rich fabric in the designs.

The pyramid was a one way. It stretched to the far end. The exquisite clothes lined up till the end. At the end of the pyramid store, was a section that mounted hand bags made from the richest materials. They were mounted on a pyramid display. A few unique pieces were placed on brown brick-like mounted tops.
I love everything here! Cried the high priestess. Maid Meryt, could you hold this for me? She said to the maid as she showed her golden and pink robe. I am trying to decide between the two.
The robes she had picked looked like a mixture between a Chinese hanfu dress and a Moroccan kaftan. At the front were shimmering pieces of golden ornaments. A detailed design was crafted at the arms of the dresses.
The bottom of the dresses flowed freely. They are so pretty. I never thought I'd ever witness such amazing dresses, Maid Meryt said to her in a smile.
I haven't seen such a place myself, let alone know that it existed, laughed the high priestess.

I'd really love that, said the high priestess as she made her way to a private changing room inside the pyramid store. Her luxurious dresses touched the allure of the golden sand on the floor. The reflection she saw of herself in the dresses made the fashion pieces epitomize eternal elegance.
She walked out and the maids could not help but make soft sounds in excitement. Beautiful indeed! The head maid cried. Wow! The four maids said in unison.
I will take both of them since I can't make up my mind, the high priestess told them.
They spent the rest of the day walking around the pyramid store scouting for the perfect exquisite designs that will satisfy the taste of the high priestess. When they left, the high priestess requested to stop at a cliff and look at the view.
She stood at the end of the cliff and caught sight of the crown prince's place. It was huge from her point of view. A large blue lake was outside his place. Boats are seen floating on the blue river.
The maids were standing behind her, waiting patiently for her. This whole experience took me by surprise, she said to herself. The Crown Prince is indeed full of surprises.
She made her way back to her chariot that was packed with the ancient Egyptian royal designs she got at the pyramid store.
Why did he allow me all these royal clothes, wondered the high priestess on her way back to the crown prince's place. Anyway, I will have to thank him for his generosity.
