Finally, the story is complete, and I love how their love story turned out. This is also the first book I've ever finished, and it's been a fun journey. Thank you all for the support and for loving my work. I know I'm not always confident in my writing, but I'll keep doing my best in the future. Sadly, I'll be taking a break from writing for a while. This story, though, will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you so much.
But before we all part ways, here are some final facts about this story and its characters:
• Kafka and Ashiro ended up together, although I didn't go into detail about their relationship.
• Kenji asked Soshiro for some... sex tips.
• Gen got into a relationship at some point. If I ever continue this story, that'll be part of Book 2, but as I mentioned, I'm sorry—I'll be taking a break from writing for a while.
• Akira died from depression.
• Kikoru struggled with depression and PTSD, but Kenji supported her through it all.
• Kiyomi buried Soshiro's father at the Hoshina compound, even with all the chaos happening in Japan.
• If it ever happens, Somi's love interest would be Gen's son.
• Soshiro and Kiyomi ended up having another child—twin boys named Haruto and Karuto.
• Only two Kaiju remain on Earth: Kiyomi and Kafka. If they finally die, the species would be wiped out.
• In my story, Japan is a forgotten country after the tragedy.
• This story wasn't supposed to have a happy ending. The original plan was for Kiyomi to die, and Soshiro would slowly suffer from losing his memories of her. But I'm sure that would've caused a backlash against me, lmao.
I didn't focus much on the other characters; only the ones who are the main stars of my story.
