In The Embrace Of Time

Time perpetually slips away,
With each setting sun and the rise of a new dawn.
A withered tree finds life again in newly unfurled leaves;
As one life departs, another is born anew.

Time is an elusive gift-impossible to reclaim,
Yet one that can be exquisitely spent.
It moves inexorably forward, often bringing fresh sorrows,
But also weaving beautiful memories and imparting invaluable lessons.

People drift into our lives, destined to leave us someday.
Some stay just long enough to offer support, then fade away.
Others leave cherished memories that cultivate kindness within us,
Or impart vital lessons that strengthen our resolve.
Indeed, they all arrive only to depart.

Time serves as both a reminder of all that we've lost,
And a mirror showing how we've reclaimed ourselves.
One who was once youthful and vigorous grows old and frail,
Bearing the rich tapestry of a life well-lived.

Yes, time slips by each day,
Spent on ephemeral moments that inevitably fade.
But those moments brought joy, a smile that lasted the day.
So, there's no need for solemnity.

Embrace each moment to its fullest,
For the span granted to us by fate is fleeting.
