26. Back to India!!

MANNAT'S POV:

After the call I was in a dilemma of deciding whether I should go to India or not, but then I decided to call my first friend here, Swati. She is the CEO of Khanna constructions. We met at the company event where she called me to host the event, and then there we found the kind of bond between us,

After that we used our meetings casual and then unexpectedly we found each other comfort person and now every time I need help I always do call her,

She picked up my call and she knows everything about what happened two years back, that made our conversation more transparent, "Hello" she said, her voice is annoyed,

"Hello, is everything alright" my voice is showing concern.

"Hmm, Mannat." she assured me but I am not believing her words,

"Actually I need your opinion" I was confused, whether I should ask her or not but then I finally put my question in front of her,

"Mannat,-" she stopped, "Hnnji, aayi" [yes, coming] she screamed to someone on the other side of the phone,

"Mannat, I am in India right now, and the worst Part is I am getting married, So ask me whatever you want to ask as I am going to my In laws home because they want to meet me" she Sighed, after completing her words,

I knit my brows, a lot of questions bubble through me, but keeping them aside I explained her whole situation and told her about the marriage and the rush of feelings and emotions rushing into me. A sound of chuckle echoed on the other side of the call, "why are you thinking so much, come here in India and show him that his presence doesn't affect you and you don't even remember him. After All he was the coward who didn't had courage to accept you as his wife," Listening her words, I wave of courage ran through my veins,

"I will come, now I will let him know that I am not that same girl who was desperate for him," I said,

"Very good, now I am going, let's meet in Mumbai when you will come, let me know" she said and I chuckled and hummed. She cut the call and I looked at the blank screen,

"Ayushman Raichand, you knew that I loved you with all my whole heart and you also knew that you were the only one whom I can call my family, I was alone when you abandoned me, I was weak but now I am not weak, I am strong." I muttered to myself and sat in my office chair, playing with the Moon which is on my desk,

I was in deep thoughts when I heard the click of door and found, my assistant Raavi came with a smile on her face, her face was blooming with proud and unimaginable happiness, "Ma'am we got the deal" she screamed and I smiled, "I knew it" I said, and stood up,

"Raavi, pack your bags for India, darling. We are going India in 20 days" I said and she hummed and left my office,

After the office, I went back to my hotel. Freshening up and eating dinner, I was sitting on the balcony looking at the moon. 'Moon' has scars, so do I have. I am married, but my husband refused to accept me, because of one mistake that is my trust to people who don't even know what trust is,

While admiring Moon, I was twirling the ring that is tied in the locket in my neck, "why did you do this Ayan? You knew that I loved you, still you did this, even I know you didn't used my body, you gave me injection that made my lower body sore, but why did you lied I still don't know, maybe this time in India I will get to know answers to my question or I will get one more heartbreak," talking to myself is my favorite work in the while,

At midnight I was looking through the documents when I got a call from Swati. She never called me this late, I got worried, "Hello" my voice is dripping with concern,
